By looking at the screens and watching the trailer, it looks like the first person mechanic will be similar to resident evil deadly silence on ds. In RE: Deadly Silence, when you choose rebirth mode, there are certain parts in the game where you go to first person and start using  your knife to slash enemies. This is what i'm assuming that would look in the game.
