I found out that maybe, buying NES games isn't so easy, as they use a battery for memory.  I was thinking of the Super NES, I found a good deal of 4 Super NES's on ebay for 20 plus shipping.  It would be cheap to keep one, and pawn the others lol.  Would that be a good idea, cause there are some great SNES games out there not on the VC yet.

Well is it worth getting, or shall I wait months, or even years till a game I want comes out for it.

Up to you. My Snes is still going strong, but I like the VC much better. Plus the carts don't last forever my Final Fight 2 and Killer Instinct will no longer work. I think MK II and A Link to the Past will be the next ones to go. Dust is a major enemy for carts. Besides there are over 100 VC titles to choose from and at least 40 of them are great games 25 are most own.

one of the few batteries in a cartridge that kept erasing saved files for me was final fantasy 2 for the snes.
