I scratched my touch screen from playing Metroid too much.  It's kinda annoying since I can feel the scratches when I run the stylus around.  I'm still under my 1 year $20 warranty at EB Games.  Do you think that they would let me trade it in for a brand new one?  Thanks!

They might not, because it's damage you did yourself even though it wasn't on purpose.

Two words...SCREEN PROTECTOR

I've found that all of the screen protectors suck except one fine brand that will cost a bit more, yet it's definately worth the extra money. Look this up on Ebay or ask about it at your favorite game shop.

HORIscreen guards. And they make them for DS, PSP, and GBA (SP and Micro)

The only screen guard I use since they don't use a glue or sticky substance to hold them on and the quality is top notch.

Oh yeah...good luck getting your system replaced. EB should honor the warranty. Unless your local stores are full of crooks like some of mine are.

THERE"S A FIX!

If your desperate, all you need is some toothpaste and a soft clothe.

Just put a teenie tiny bit of toothpaste on the screen and buff out the scratches with the cloth.  Be sure to buff using small circular motions.  Also be careful to not get toothpaste too close to the edges of the screen or it will be tough to get it out.

Toothpaste is abrasive and will take the most minor scratches out reliably.  Give it a shot!
