Because it might very well be that the game becomes flat-out boring and uninteresting after 2 or 3 hours of playing, when you realize that what looks like a world of possibilities boils down to a handful of predictable variables, and that you have seen basically everything in the hundreds of previews. Think Lionhead's Black&White, which was equally hyped, and for similar reasons.

Yes, if you are having it ordered to your house. No, if you ordered it for in-store pick-up and push all of the kiddies out of the way and get it. That's what I'll be doing. But after I get it, I'll give the game to some hobo.
This game looks awesome! But I think the publishers are releasing it at the wrong time. The whole first half of 2009 we haven't had any chart busting titles hit the Nintendo DS or not any First Party titles for that matter. But Scribblenauts is releasing on September 15th, the day after Nintendo releases a new title from their storied franchise Mario. Scribblenauts is going to have to be competing for sales it's first three months with Mario, and then after that with Link aswell as the Legend of Zelda : Spirit Tracks is released in December. I just can't see Nintendo DS owners choosing to buy this game over a new Mario game or even a new Zelda game.

i dont really think of that as chart busting. dragon quest 9 sales were what i'd call chart busting.
Well, yes. But you'd be hard pressed to find a title that sold at that pace in the west. As it is, 2.7 million since March (the rest are all Japanese sales) is also very, very good.

I'm really, really excited about this game. It's easily my most anticipated game on any platform. I can't remember the last time I've been so impressed with a concept for a game. It looks incredible. Got my copy reserved, now I'm just counting down the days.

Well: Advance Wars, Kingdom Hearts, Okamiden, Trauma Center Under The Knife 2, Big Bang Mini, Chrono Trigger, Dragon Ball Origins, Lego Batman, Meteos, Pokemon Pearl, The Rub Rabbits, Sonic Rush Adventure and Rhythm Heaven.
I've been gaming for almost 28 years and I have never bought a system for an exclusive........until now. I bought a DSi a few weeks back for this game!!
Meh, I'm not feeling this game like most people are. I just know it won't appeal to me. The concept is certainly intriguing, but I just think I'll get bored with it rather quickly. I'll probably get it when it hits the sale bin.
