At first I thought Etrian Odyssey looked tedious and boring. I thought it was just another dungeoun crawler that was half-baked just to show-off the touch screen. But that's not the case and it's actually a game with high-production values created by well-known veterans in the industry. So once I saw the Famitsu reviews and the actual gameplay videos I didn't realize how smoothly the game plays. It looked really cool from what I saw. So for now I'm sold on this game, but even though I will get it for sure, I'm still curious to what stateside reviews will say about this.

Anyway, for more info on this game, here are a bunch of links:

An article that says the game sells out in Japan:

Some gameplay trailers:

And a very comprehensive preview and Famitsu review from Neogaf:

This game looks good. Can't wait for it.

I was interested in this game ever since I knew who was behind it ;) I'm a huge fan of the people, and I love Atlus games. This is a definite pick-up from me when it comes out. And in May! I wasn't expecting it so soon, honestly :o

I'm glad it's still looking good.  I had seen stuff on it last year and was hoping that more info wouldn't turn out to be a let-down.  Thanks.

Note they have a website/blog for the Japanese version of this game as well. I linked to three game trailers for it over on the NIS and Atlus Union (which I'm sure could use an injection of new members by the way).
