I just thought of something. Since the Wii U is good wiht Wii controllers I am probably going to keep them. And since its backward compatible, then no need Wii. So that means I will be trying to sell a Wii with no controllers. lol

Yea, if you 'trade in' your Wii. Try to find a better place than Gamestop if you can. Oh, don't forget to transfer your Wii shop stuff to Wii U..if you have any that is~ I wonder how that transfer will work.. Wii >>> Wii U

Just sell your wii privately with no controllers. I see them advertised like that all the time. Obviously price it accordingly.

It's not really a barrier to selling it. Wii's get broken but the remotes keep working. People buy a wii, some spare wiimotes, then later they sell the wii but keep the spare wiimotes ... just in case they get a wii again.

When I had a PS3, I bought a Dual Shock 3 and it was ridiculously expensive. When I sold the PS3 I kept the controller. 2yrs later I bought a PS3 again, and finally got to recycle my controller - lol.

I was thinking of selling mine, but I still have a nice lil collection of Gamecube games. I'll keep it for those games and Wii games I don't feel like playing on the Wii U.

Keep the Wii and "tinker" with it, it's really fun to play around with and see what all you can get to work on it.
