I'm one of the many people who just CANNOT beat the Striker Cup (the last one). I want to change characters and sidekicks. If I "Start A New Cup", do I have to start back at the first cup (forgot the name) and work my way back to the Striker Cup?

Yes you have to start from the Fire Cup. I did it with: Bowser,Dry Bones,Hammer Bro and a Toad Waluigi,Dry Bones,Hammer Bro and a Toad
Oh boy, I'm not doing all that... oh well, I guess I'll just persevere. I'mma get 3 other pros to play with me so we can all control the players on my team at a time XD.
Sluggers has cheap AI too? I am so glad i didnt get that game :P. The first baseball game was too much for me. Despite the cheapness of AI, I love Strikers tho... it's fun playing it with friends. I especially love the soundtrack... some of the music in this game is just... FIERCE.
Well, it's not a terribly hard game. I picked up the game and put it on the easiest difficulty and got to 17-1 before I quit and went to a harder difficulty and got whupped 'cause of the fact that they catch everything...
oh god stiker's is cheap all around anyway with the AI and somehow the EXTREEME online players know these ridiculous online combos and stuff that isn't human so good luck with that. I beat the whole game with Wario and some other people.
