I was paying attention to stuff on the shooters, which is something i really like on the wii for the action you have to take to do anything, grenades and such. One thing i noticed is that every shooter so far seems that you have to take the gun to the edge of the screen before the screen moves direction. Take MoH:H2 for example, you have to pull the gun sights around all over the screen to see somewhere. I'm sure everyone has played a shooter on the pc or xbox or something, where you pull the aim, and the sights, your direction and gun all follow the same way. I looked at recent screens of Conduit to see that the same thing was going on. Anyone think that this is bit of n annoyance, or is it just me? I find it hard to look behind me when i gotta take the time to pull the gun ll the way around, then fix the gun on the person, which if they are on the edge of my screen, i gotta then keep pulling blind.

I really dislike the way many wii shooters aim too. MOH:Vanguard was terrible to me.

Urrm in Moh:H2 you can adjust the dead zone, same as you'll be able to in the Conduit, this means that instead of moving to the edge of the screen like in say Red Steel, as soon as you move outside this invisible deadzone the screen starts to turn. In other words the smaller you set it the easier it is to turn, no dragging the cursor around.

The problem is, if the aimer was always in the middle on a Wii game your view would be really shaky.

The Conduit is gonna have pretty much fully customizable controls, so you can make it feel like a pc-shooter if you want. And Metroid Prime 3, on "advanced" control settings doesn't have the problem that a lot of Wii shooters do. And yeah on Medal of Honor: Heroes 2 you're probably having that problem because you didn't adjust the dead zone. And Ubisoft didn't know what they were doing when they were setting up the camera turning in Red Steel, but hopefully they'll fix it in Red Steel 2.

Metroid Prime 3 shows just how good a first person shooter can be on the Wii. (I know a lot of people don't consider MP3 to be a 'true' FPS, but you're in the first person, and shooting stuff)

To explain moreso what i meant is that you have to move far over on the screen, and the deadzone on MOHH2 is a bit iffy, cause i have it as small as possible, and it still requires me to aim to the edge of the screen to turn. And i had no problem with RE4 aim, it wasn't shaky, and i held the wiimote up without actually relaxing my arm to test it out.

Jaysonguy

It will take a while before people get used to calling those games correctly.

And to the TC, I know what you mean, but it was never a problem to me.
