I'm thinking about buying one of them, but I'm not sure of which one to pick. I saw that Dual Strike got a high score, but Days of Ruin seems darker and more serious, something that I think I might like more. Which one do you guys think I should choose?

DoR is not a sequel to DS and I disagree with gamespot and think DoR is better so get DoR.

I have both, and I like Days of Ruin better. The battle mechanics flow better in Days of Ruin, and the CO Powers can't single-handedly win a fight like they can in Dual Strike, which resulted in a few surprising losses. Additionally, there is a greater balance of land and air troops in Days of Ruin, due to some new units. On the other hand, Dual Strike has some unique two-screened missions, which can either be really fun or disappointing, depending on how your partner's AI handles the upper screen.

So, if you're asking me to recommend one to you, I'd choose Days of Ruin.

I would say dual strike, but good luck finding it. It's been out of print for a while.

I played through and own both and DoR story is defiantly better than DS and so is the gameplay.

The story wasn't exceptional, but it I thought it was enjoyable. I definitely didn't consider it worse than the last game's story.

get em both but if your looking to buy just one it depends, DS is a direct game of the original series but DoRis more serious and and you dont need to know about an original story
