Should I Have a PS3/Wii Combination?

I was thinking of getting a Ps3 so i'd have a PS3/Wii combination...it seems as though PS3 is an expensive console but the games are getting serious price drops, and the wii games...aren't.So i think it would balance it out what do you think I should do?

What kind of games would you get for the PS3? Because if you want good online shooters, get the 360. For RPG's and such, and Metal Gear Solid 4, get a PS31

Well I love PS3 and well i've never really played online before so thats not a big problem but Ps3 games are getting cheaper, sure they start out a $60 usually but they go down a lot in price unlike the wii whose launch games still go for $50, so I thought I'd get a PS3 to balance it out, plus i love Playstation and most of their games are really fun so i've been leaning more towards a PS3 than a 360, open to suggestions

Hey, this summer I too am getting a PS3! We'll be Wii/PS3 brothers! XD

I think it's worth it. PS3 has some good games.

I have both but games really are not getting price drops just the bad or really dated games are which happens on all consoles.

the reason i would get a ps3/wii is because most games you can get for the xbox360 u can get for the comp. some ps3 titles are solo

i have a 360 and a wii, i'd have a ps3 too but i dont feel like spending the money... 2 systems to buy games for is enough as it is. depends which system's exclusives you like better i suppose.

I currently have a Wii60 (hopefully to become a PSWii60 soon) and I think PSWii sounds like a good combo. Most high profile 3rd party games come out for both the 360 and PS3 in nearly identical versions so you can't really go wrong with either and then the Wii is just the Wii so it's awesome.

If you could combine two systems into one the Xbox360+Wii would be best. Considering the Xbox360 nearly is the same as a PC but it is less logical to say a PCii or something. But seperately a PS3+Wii is your best choice.

i`m doing the same for the fall..

You should noticed thus that the good games are not price dropping...

If you like games like DMC4, MGS4, uncharted and so get the ps3. The 360 is good for FPS. beside that IMO the games that would be release on 360 that I would like are going also to the ps3 (RE5, SH5..) and if you played GoW, the third title would come to ps3 so :D:D

short: if you like ps3 games... get one.. the wii + ps3/360 (depending on taste) = perfect couple.

Go with a PC/Wii combo. The 360 and PS3 are good systems, but pretty much any game that comes out on them goes to PC as well. PC has better graphics and you can do more with them. Not only that, but it really isnt that much more expensice to get a decent PC. I'd rather play Call of Duty 4 on my PC then an Xbox any day. Get the Wii because it is fun and inovatice, and Nntendo has more exclusives that you dont see on the other systems.

Why don't you get a PS-3Wii60 combo? I would....I just don't have enough money, good thing I have friends that have a 360 and a PS3 ^_^.
