*Sigh* my DS lite's hinge is cracked

Well finally after 2 years my DS lite's hinge crack, Im not suprised because I have heard from other people that their hinges have cracked too (probally due to error in the design of some first models), However I would've been fine if the hinge cracked, as I would just have to be careful handling it so it wouldn't break, but now I am very upset my sound is not working at all, and I have been told that I would not be getting another DS, because earlier in the year I had gotten a very expensive digital piano that would count as a birthday and christmas present.

Im very sad. :cry:

We had the same issue, they took it back, fixed it(put a new top unit on the system) and shipped it back to us within a week. Free of course.
