Hi there, you've probably noticed more reacently that Theme Park was released for the DS. So I've decided why not create more managment sims for the DS -- and ones that could work like theme park did. I've come up with a few suggestions so far: Railroad Tycoon, championship manager and most importantly Sim City. So what do you think? Feel free to post any suggestions, comments and rant (please by all means...lol). Also please fill in the poll I've added to this thread

I would belive they would use that format but graphically and playability wise it may be a little weak on the DS'exspectations

lol your logic is way off. How do you figure it wouldn't look as good or play as good on the DS, when the DS is more powerful than the SNES? Sorry, but if anything, it would look and play better on the DS.

No. Release it on Wii's Virtual Console and that's good enough. Plus it will be a lot cheaper.

To the TC... you do know that Will Wright is releasing Sim City on the DS right? It seems to play like the most recent Sim City game, with the space and overall scope scaled back a bit.

Yes it's real. According to this GS story, it's supposed to be released this summer. Here's GS's gamespace for SimCity DS if you want more info.

edit: I'm not sure if Will Wright is working on it or not... I assumed he was when I saw his mug in the game. :?

I've already had the pleasure of playing Sim City, I must say that it is a good port to the DS, sometimes the small screens annoy me, but then it does stay true.  I can't tell, I think it is a mix of Sim City 2000 and 3000.  Anyways, you can check out a gameplay video on DS Database.  It is pretty interesting.
