It's really fun to play and lasts a lot longer if you play with friends. It really depends on what you like though. My friend loves Rayman, and I play ExciteTruck until my contacts dry out. So yeah, either one of those is fun for by yourself, unless you dislike racing games.

I think Excite Truck would be well worth your money. also games like Tiger Woods '07 if you like golf, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance, TMNT maybe (I haven't played it yet today is the release date), Trauma Center is really good (My wife beat it before me, first game that's ever happened), Mario Party comes out in a couple weeks, Call of Duty 3 is another really good game. There's a few suggestions of things I've seen...

Cool, the only part about Excite I don't like is you can only do two players. Also, if you do play with someone else, give them a chance to practice. Nobody wants to play with me anymore.....=P

wario ware does get real old- its a renter basically!! Now rabbids is a different matter, IMO this is the best game apart from wii sports and has lots of challenges to keep you coming back, also the humour is refreshing and when compared to wario, dumps on it from a great height! :)

I'd wait 2 weeks and buy Super Paper Mario. Buy a VC game in the meantime to keep you busy

I've been thinking about getting TC, but I am extremely squeamish. In a wierd way. I mean, I can slash and hack at enemies in a gory game, but if I see something a little subtler, like someone getting a papercut, for instance, I cringe. Despite my overempathy, do you think that I would enjoy TC?

Well...check out some of the videos, it's not that bad, but if you're hypersensitive to such things it may not be a great idea. It's a great game either way, I have the DS version and I love it.

Probably not, There are scenes where there's glass shards embedded in a beating heart that you have to pull out...only to find a larger one deeper in the organ. It pumps it out before you have to extract it, which I found to be pretty cool :D Course, the graphics during the operations are cartoon "dummy" like but still the thought of it all might make you squeamish. If you aren't that squeamish then TC is a GREAT game! There's a lot of interactions with the remote, intense surgical moments, and a cute storyline drama. You don't have to have a steady hand as a lot of people make you want to believe. The motar skills and hand-eye coordination isn't much more complex than any other non-kiddie game.

If by fast you mean 90 minutes, you're right. You'll be done with the game in a day and regret not only the money you burnt buying it, but the time spent playing it when you could have been toasting all your sliced bread for no reason, or some other more enjoyable activity. Without knowing what kind of games you like, it's tough to suggest what to buy. I say, save your money and wait for something you really want to get, or use it on something else. Maybe get some DVDs, take a girl out, go see a concert, buy your mom a nice gift for no reason.

Godfather, Medal of Honor, Excite Truck, ***Super Paper Mario (April 9), or you could just buy some DS games if you have a DS.

*shudders* I don't know, it depends on how they handle the story, characters, graphics, etc. It's really strange with me; on the one hand I can't watch(or listen to) parts of a lot of movies, especially action or horror movies, but on the other hand I've been known to say things like "Heehee, I'm such a prankster" while gunning down ambulances in GTA. I think it all depends on how realistic it is, at whether I can empathize with the characters....Do you think that I should rent TC?

Yes, you should rent it and see if you like it for yourself. Who knows, maybe you'll beat it in the 7 days blockbuster gives you and you don't need to buy it. I wish I rented Raapala Fishing before buying it...
