None of those games are "remakes" they're all enhanced ports. Yes, the 3DS line-up is poor right now. It's launch year so give it time.well there kinda remakes.... they upgraded the textures in orcarina, and made the resolution and textures better in Overclocked, aswell as add to the story. in super street fighter they gave it new graphics and added 3D... the only one i might consider an "enhanced port" would be Super street fighter 3DS....
i heared that it wasn't that great. and it only got like a 6 on gamespot.

A simple search would have shown you that it scored a 7.5 on Gamespot, and one more click would have shown you that it has an 8.2 critic average and an 8.5 user average. :P

Still, its just another fighter game on the 3DS.... like we dont have enough of those.....i guess im just not a big fighter fan cause they get soo boring for me after a while....

By year's end I don't people will be complaining about lack of games on the 3DS.

There will still be people not happy. There's only Super Mario 3D Land Mario Kart, Pokemon Rumble Blast (LOL) & Shinobi for original 3DS games (I doubt Kid Icarus will be released this year considering NOA already announced the dates for all their other 1st Party games but we'll see). There are ports of Cave Story, Harvest Moon: Tale Of Two Towns & Star Fox 64. That's not very impressive to me at least.
Other then Super Mario 3D land and Mario Kart 7 what else is there?By year's end I don't people will be complaining about lack of games on the 3DS.

They do have Resident Evil: Revelations coming out, but that's just a prequel and it's not coming out until the beginning of next year. I'm hoping to see a new RPG like Final Fantasy or at least a remake of FF 5 and 6 like they did with 3 and 4 for the regular DS. Besides Devil Survivor, there's no RPG's out at the moment, and that one didn't look all that great.

In comparison to the Vita so far the 3DS isn't looking to great. The Vita out of the gate is launching with a good line-up (Uncharted Prequel, Little Deviants etc...) and shortly after getting games such as Dragons Crown, Gravity Daze & Persona 4 Vita (which is looking to have MUCH more extra content then the SMT: DS had for the 3DS.). Nintendo needs to step it up.Dead or Alive dimensions is amazing. LOZ is for sure a remake, it came out like 15 years ago and the graphics are a lot lot lot better, and the controls and stuff are enhanced. SMT: Devil Survivor Overclocked is kinda port, but it did add some stuff and the graphics are better, I'd say it's an enhanced port, and Super Street Fighter IV 3D is a 3D port of the console versions.FPS1337As far as LOZ, improving graphics (and adding meh 3D) and adding a hint system doesn't make a game a "Remake" IMO. I haven't seen anything in it so far that would make it be one. Resident Evil Gamecube is the prefect example of a true remake. Not only were the graphics improved but Capcom added alot of story elements, puzzles and changed around some of the order of things. It felt like a completely new experience while being familiar.

It seems to be a bunch of games announced that they want to be launch games but that doesn't mean it'll happen. I actually think Nintendo already has stepped it up. With Mario 3D Land, Mario Kart 7, Tetris: Axis, Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing, Paper Mario, and Luigi's Mansion 2 all supposedly coming out in the near future that's pretty good. The problem of course is that they are just now starting. 3rd parties are the ones who need to step it up. At least we're getting Bit.Trip Saga, Harvest Moon 3DS, and Sonic Generations this year.[QUOTE="FlamesOfGrey"][QUOTE="MrFuzzy81"]

Only Kid Icarus, Paper Mario and Luigi's Mansion 2 (none have official release dates so, who can say if near future won't get delayed just like PS Vita launch titles) look good to me personally but if you think the others look good enough for your gaming experience then awesome. Nintendo are coming off of the biggest most quality handheld of all time and I expected them to have had a better start then the one they've had with the 3DS (reminds me of the PS3 in a way actually). Bit Trip Saga isn't my kind of game, Harvest Moon: Tale Of Two Towns is also on the DS (and that version releases eariler) and could be another port to the 3DS like Blazblue but I don't know for sure and Sonic Generations is fine but I will be playing the console versions of that.Other then Super Mario 3D land and Mario Kart 7 what else is there?[QUOTE="trugs26"]

Animal Crossing, Paper Mario, and Luigi's Mansion 2 are quality titles. That's 5 quality titles from Nintendo, then not to mention Resident Evil, Cave Story, Driver: Renegade, Sonic Generations, a few other sports games such as Fifa/Madden, Harvest Moon, Pac Man.. I mean there are just a whole bunch of random good games that a variety of people will enjoy this year. Even though I'm going to pour a lot of hours into Zelda and Star Fox (the remakes) I've still got all of these games to play.
Then following this nice array of games, early next year looks to start off with a few goodies such as Kid Icarus, Professor Layton, and Professor Layton vs Ace.
As I said, by year's end, I doubt people will be complaining about the lack of games. But then again, there are always some complainers out there, but what can ya do?

I believe he means this year based on what he's responding toso, games like Animal Crossing, Luigi's Mansion 2, Paper Mario and RE: Revelations don't apply to his question.
Ghost recon shadow wars is a good game. definitely worth a purchasejedinortd_basic
GS says that Ghost Recon is good. They say Rayman is bad (which considering they changed NOTHING is probably a good choice), but if you've never played previous versions of the game then there's no reason not to buy it as it's a pretty awesome game. SSFIV is a remake rather than a port. Anyone who actually cares about the existence of Nintendogs would probably enjoy that. DOA Dimensions is supposedly great. Two more noticeable games coming by year's end. So if you need more than 5 games then of course you're going to feel like there's not enough variety, especially as the 3ds was reliant on unreliable third-party publishers before Nintendo could get their games on the shelves
