I hope not to sound rude but you just felt in Nintendos marketing trap. They introduce a new color, promote it like a brand new next gen console and privious owners fall for the color and buy the thing.
I've been waiting forever for new color(s), anything. This black is soooo sharp. I bought it release day. Have spent about 100 bucks on VC/WiiWare games. NyxQuest is awesome, Lost Winds is fun, d/l'd all classic mario games. i always hated the "only white" wii policy in america. would prefer a silver or bronze, but this black is beautiful and fits my entertainment setup
and for the guy who played his black wii for a while then sold it, wow you lost lots of money. why didn't you just take it back to the store and say it had some glitch or the person you gave it to already had one?
Lol. Get a 360 if you don't have one. PS3 is pretty much garbage only good for blu-rays, 360 has a much more extensive library of games and features.Sonny360Elite

The black Wii is very beautiful! It is very shiny, but it does not last very long. It won't be long once dust settles on it and if you touch it with anything, it will scratch the finish, it is THAT fragile. I know because mine looks like a mess after I used the softest microfiber cloth I could find to give it a cleaning and now it looks horrible. I think Nintendo should have made this a matte black instead or at least provide some kind of cleaning cloth to keep this thing looking nice. To be honest, this is more of a work of art meant to be kept under an airtight glass box rather than being used as a game console.

I've been very careful with mine and it's in a nice and secure area so I don;t think it will get too dirty. I'm gonna baby it don;t worry :D
