So im thinking of getting a DS is there really a difference between the DS and DS lite? Also is there ever gonna be another Fire emblem game on a portable system?
ds lite is more compact and attractive compared to the ds phat as some people call it. Though its good looks and size come at a cost it is far more fragile and the speakers arent as loud as the phat one though u do get larger stylus(which is better) and a stylus holder which is pretty cool. Only bad thing is for the lite is that their easy to get smudges and dirt stuck in between certain cracks and of course are more fragile.
As for fire emblem i hear there is one for wii and with the whole ds wii wifi stuff i guess there will be one for the ds

The DS phat looks and feels retarded, the Lite is in my eyes a huge improvement in every way. There's no reason why you shouldn't get the lite. And don't worry about people saying it looks fragile, it's sturdy enough. :)
