If we follow that format, we usually see 1 Mario game, 1 (or 2) Zelda games, 1 Super Smash Bros game, 1 Mario Kart game, 1 Animal Crossing, one of each of the Mario sports games, etc, etc.
Then we got Metroid Prime for the Gamecube, but the Prime series is over.
So, that said, we've already seen Mario, Zelda, (soon to be) Smash, (soon to be) Kart, Stikers, and so on, within the first year and a half.
That leaves...3 and a half years of...who knows?

Star Fox, F-Zero, Pikmin, Animal Crossing, Kirby, maybe Kid Icarus, lots of Mario spinoffs, another Fire Emblem maybe, Wii Music, Wii "fill-in-the-blank", Donkey Kong, and probably one or two new IPs, one of them maybe for the mature crowd.
Nintendo isn't stopping anytime soon... it's partially the Brawl effect and the fact that there's only a few noteworthy games Nintendo fans are looking forward to in '08.
Then again, the year is still young, E3 will let some cats out of the bag, and there's a growing 3rd party presence. The Wii is in good shape until the next system arrives.
