So.....how does this "gift" giving work!?

If one person or friend has bought the game and has your Wii code or listed as a friend then he can send you the game to you for free!? Right!? Or am I missing something here!?

When you go to download a game you have the choice to "gift it" or download it. It costs the same as downloading, so it's basically just if you want to send a friend something for their birthday or a holiday. I see no big use for it other than for people that like to give.

He has to buy the game again and send it to you, Nintendo doesn't like giving out games for free.

its lame, i gave my friend the photo channel upgrade thing, My christmas shopping is now complete!

I did the same thing for my brother lol. But of course you have to buy it again it wouldn't make any sense otherwise. Like they'd let you give out games for free, there'd already be a sticky for wii codes JUST for "gifts"

It would have been nice to be able to gift games for half the price if you already own it. More incentive to activate the online community, get new friends etc.
