I noticed today that Sonic 1 & 2 on the Master System are two of the most popular downloaded games for the VC lately. I think people are meaning to buy the Genesis versions and are picking these by mistake!
The two Master System games are completely different to the Genesis/Mega Drive ones. Sonic 1 on the Master System is really good, if a litle short. Sonic 2 on the Master System however, is a big pile of poop. Poor level design and poor bosses. Not to mention the fact that the game has images of Tails all over the place, yet he doesn't feature in the game at all.
