spider man: wos on wii...no hype??

i didnt have to work today so its like game frenzy for me. i got up this morning and checked out some of the footy for the new spider man game on the nintendo channel. im not sure if it was wii gameplay but it look great. im surprised theres no hype for the game. maybe people are unknowing of it or just dont care!? guess we have to wait for a review.

plus im gald theres no movie for this game to follow. FINALLY!!!

I am kinda bored of Spider Man games. What will make this one different from the many other I have played?_Pinbot_

wolverine is in it...and his estranged sybiotic form plus other characters from the marvel uni that could only happen in a spidey game that isnt accompanied by a spidey 'movie'

totally re-imagined combat system ground-to-flight-to-rooftop-styled

venom and original spider man ARE playable

open-world, non linear gameplay

and if that is wii footage...it looks very good

i havent played the other spider man games on wii b/c i could care less but i cant help but to be a little optimistic about this version. theres promising footy on the ninty channel. you should see it dude...

Multi plats generally suck on the Wii, and licensed games usually suck. In this case, it isn't a double negative.

Actually, the PS2 version is a side-scroller. The Wii version is completely free-roam.

Despite the fact that the ONE open-world Spider-man game that released on Wii was awful (swingin was fun though), i'm still pretty excited for this one. One thing the Spidey games have needed is combat mechanics that match the quality of the swing mech. and it looks like they might pull it off with WoS.

We'll see, I guess.

I'm really excited for this game. I skipped SM3 and Friend or foe (I've only played them a bit on the ds), so my memories aren't tainted. Only memories of SM2 and ultimate. I'm totally waiting to get my hands on this game. As long as graphics are pretty good, I don't really care as long as motion controls are implemented properly and I get to have the same amount of fun as I did watching those those combat videos I've seen which have popped up over the net. I'm loving the tony hawk/matrix style combat and I REALLY want someone to post videos or even images of wii version. Basically there is no footage of the wii version which is why I'm a bit skeptical. I've read one good review(for the wii) about it and that's it. As long as graphics aren't as bad as SM3..I think i'll be good though (hopefully...).jacobs06

Ps2 is a port of the psp game. This is a port of the 360/ps3 verisons. The only difference is graphics and controls, and if some sites were right a few exclusive characters.
