Splatoon 2 confirmed 1080P 60FPS

yeah that's it, lol. Thought everyone would like to know :) out of curioisty. Does this make any difference to you personally? Like is this good news to you or couldn't care less?

yes! the switch power surprises yet again!

and the textures are slightly better too from what i saw in the test fire.

i thought it had to be 1080p because the streams from nintendo looked so crisp.

@KBFloYd: Good eye, you were totally correct! Apparently the online test launch was in 720P, so they improved it since!

Are Charlie Sheen and Willem Dafoe coming back? That game gonna be awesome I hope rated 17+ at least.

Good to hear, I was a little disappointed by the resolution in the Testfire.

@aki2017: I was going to post a Platoon GIF, but then I couldn't really find one that fit what I was going for. @dr_vancouver topped whatever I would have done I'm sure. XD

Well, I would still love to get Splatoon 2. I never got to play the original, and missed out on the Testfire. The single-player mode makes the game really attractive to me, since I can't play online from home.

But I am feeling like I will end up putting off buying the game at launch, and focus on other things for a while. I hope Splat2 sells a lot and does very well out of the gate, but it's getting difficult to justify spending top dollar for games where so much of the content requires online play that I can't take advantage of. I'm more likely to hold off for something like Skyrim, which will have a big single-player adventure.

So they can achieve this but split screen is still a no go, even for salmon run? Come on Nintendo!
