I have to agree. it's a sad state when the whinny fanboys get the wii owners bashing their own games. the devs can make the game however they want, that's what they get for being devs. I started on DSE last night, and wow. the game is fantastic. it sucks you right in. if you don't like something your energy is much better spent by moving on as opposed to dwelling on it. you don't like rail shooters, that's your choice, but please just move along no one wants your whine. bottom line, rail shooters go great on the wii. you won't have this experience on any other console. it really is like an interactive movie.Omgosh people, hearing so many people complain about Dead Space is a truly sad ting :(
Is it unfortunate that it's a rail shooter? Yes. The original is a damned masterpiece.
Is it still one heck of a game and even betterfor those already familiar with thesource material? Absolutely!
I wished for another 3rd person action game as well, but man Extraction still is a killer title. And a great amount of effort and love went into it that's easy to see from it's production value and great reviews. PLEASE give the game at least a chance. I promise you it'll be worth a look. Totally worth my day one $50 purchase.
