It's a dev interview and they are talking about the Wii, PS2, PSP and DS seperatly. The Wii version is the first to be talked about.
Looks alright.

I saw a big spreadsheet explaining all the different and specific motions for specific actions. That's very much the opposite of "waggle". If you want to be a lazy gamer, just admit that.hellhund

One to one would be terrible, considering most gamers are not accomplished swordsmen. That would be like having to dissassemble your controller to clear a jam in a FPS.

Meh, im still more interested in the PS3/360 Versions, just because of those two engines.. the control setup doesnt look that great to me, looks more or less like waggle, which i hate. HaziqonfireYeah there's lots of waggle. Through the physics aren't as bad as I thought it would and using the force with the nunchuck looks cool.
Still I'm not really that interested in the game tbh... I was just posting the info.

The extra levels and the dueling appeals to me more than a few extra shiny objects.

Graphics and physics look plenty sufficient to me. Controls sound good but it doesn't mean they'll actually work well in action. And of course the game it'self should be awsome.
What about online though? I'm sure it's been discussed before, too tired to look now. Is it supposed to have online, any confirmation?
I dunno. Never heard any mention of the Wii version having online.Graphics and physics look plenty sufficient to me. Controls sound good but it doesn't mean they'll actually work well in action. And of course the game it'self should be awsome.

I can't wait for this game!
Yes, it has an online dueling mode for the Wii. Beyond that, I don't know.

Not sure about online for the Wii, but I know that XBox360 and PS3 don't have multiplayer for this game, unless something changes between now and release.
When I first heard of the game back a few months ago, I simply assumed failure. But slowly as time passes, the game looks more promising with each video and review. The one question that surrounds me is "Does the motion sensing respond and respond well?" We shall see :|

I'm cautiously optimistic about this. If nothing else, I know Lucasarts loves money so they'll want to make sure it's better than terrible.
Graphics look dull and washed out on the Wii version (I'm sorry, I know gameplay is more important than graphics, blah blah blah), but I'm really tired of this port nonsense. I'll rent it for sure, maybe just borrow a copy, but I'm really hesitant to buy just because it's a port.
I'm hating the existence of the PS2 more and more.
Wow, that was a great video regardless of what you might think of it. Thanks for posting it!
Honestly in some ways I'm happy that the game seems to be visually better than the PS2 a bit, but also disappointed that it doesn't look even better than it does. Why would it not look as good as Galaxy or Metroid? It just baffles me. However the entirety of the story, and controls and implementaion of the Force is too exciting to pass up. If anything this video definitely makes me feel justified in buying the Wii version more so than before. I have to be kind of a graphics snob with the Wii nowadays since A) I've already had my prrof that the controls can create a next gen experience no other console can do. B ) because we've already seen amazing next gen visual from games like th afformentioned Metrdoi and Mario and C) given the first two reasons and the fact that system is powerfull in it's own right, it's just time for devs to start putting effort into that facet of game making. I love showing my buds a beautiful Wii game so they can see what it's capable of. While TFU looks good like I said, I know it can look better so here's hoping.
I will be getting no matter what however.

.....And then at the same time I do agree entirely with this statement.
honestly physics engins aren't a revolutionary feature, never will be unless your going to do a Half Life and create lots of physics based puzzles, physics based vehicles, physics based weaponry and attacks. Now that's revolutionary... but like I said half life 2 already did that, near to 3 years ago
and enemies grabbing onto boxes isn't revolutionary either, it's also known as stick hands, all they've done is "hand (or floating point) collides with corner - hand stays there (fixed point)" at best the physics will run dry quickly and you'll be left with yet another obi-wan...
I only say these things cos haziquonfire is clearly just trying to insult this version. I dunno which will be better, but I'm willing to bet the novelty of playing a close as it gets to being a jedi, will be a lot more long term than the novelty of enemies grabbing boxes. (there are only really 2 physics engins btw, the third on they described was just a series of pred determined breaking or distrubance effects, there is euphoria and havok)
Thoses physics in the PS3/360 may be a novelty but it's not like waggle controls are much better. Let's see first if the controls are said to be responsive. From the vid, it looks ok at best.
Through I didn't know that only the Wii version has multiplayer, just like the Wii version of Ghostbusters. That's a big exclusive feature imo.
I just watched it this morning, (and made a thread about it.. sorry  Thx to the person that linked me here.. )
and it looks freaking great.. :P

Well, for the sake of full disclosure, the DS and PSP versions have multiplayer too.
