The MacBeth Train level 2. Nothing quite like sending a train crashing into an enemy base.
Kick on the gas! Good going, fox! Kick on the gas! NO! HIT THE BREAKS! *Screeches and small explosions* BOOM!
Mostly, just like Star fox 64.
I think it should go back to its roots and stick to the flying sequences. Also, I think they should make some changes to the voice overs. Unlike most here, I didn't care much for the N64 version (yes I liked the SNES version better) and I thought the voices very very annoying and childish. It wouldn't be a bad idea to eliminate them all together.chisoxruleagreed snes starfox 4tw
I would online is a must as well.
My only worry is that they will have to dub down the graphics like MKWii for online purposes (LAG).
StarFox is a series that should push the Wii to the limits graphically imo, and online won't allow that.
It's gonna be tricky to keep that Nintendo quality, 60fps, and at least a 12 person online option. I don't think it can be done...unless they dumb it.
Definitely more like N64. They should push the graphics to the limit. And if they must do any on ground missions, Fox should be more like he is in Smash Brothers. Adventures was way too childish, and Assault's awkward control was...well awkward. If they could make any ground stuff more like Ratchet and Clank that would be better (control-wise. like i said, less childish.)
No love story. That means no Crystal. (Wishful thinking. They won't just take her away after making her so damn important.)
Multiplayer missions would be fun. You could play co-op in the Star Fox team or Co-op Star Wolf Team, or against each other 2v2 or 3v1 or what have you. And choosing a different character would actually be significant, they would all be slightly different.
Perhaps introduce a new ship of some sort for a mission, maybe some high speed jet ski or hover craft type thing. They've done air, ground, and under water, how about on water? Just a thought.
BILL, IS THAT YOU? Bill should come back with his Katina Fleet ;)
But overall, mostly arwings, mostly space, and Peppy should get his southern accent back.
Wow, i bet I'm the only one here that liked starfox command. I liked it because it was allmost like having halo on the gamecube, but better. If they could make so in story you weren't on the ground so much and you were in the air a little more, i'd be fine with it. O but keep the multiplayer from command and change a few designs to make it better. Plus make it online 16 player (at the most) for huge area's like corneria where it takes forever to run from one side of the city to the other to kill one guy.Mike885o ya, and it would need wii speak with a button to only talk to your teamates for making strategy, and then talk regularly when you aren't pressing the button for taunting your opponents

Please don't speak for eveyone by saying you were the only one who liked it. I thought it was 7.9, and that is good, but not enough for starfox. Please do not be an overthinker and say odd stuff like starfox command = Halo on GCN (wait what, did he really just say that). Also, 16 players online?? There is not even 16 playable starfox characters. Wii controls are pretty obvious. 8 players online would make it better and keep people alive long enough for the match to last a normal time. also teams 4 vs 4 online. The multiplayer available characters should be the 4 from starfox team, Peppy Hare, and 3 from Star Wolf.
There should be Local Play (of course) and also 4 player local co-op as well as online four player co-op with enabled Wii Speak. Starfox is not in dire need of a sequel, but there can definetly do some good stuff on Wii.

i didn't say i was the only one, i said like, because allmost everyone here was bashing ground missions, which was one of my favorite parts. I'm just saying it was like it because i used to like halo and it was pretty close to it, I even like it better than halo (and still do). Just because they don't have 16 characters doesn't mean everyone can't be the same character or stuff like that, 8 would be fine but i'm saying if they make really big areas like that one.[QUOTE="demontium"]o ya, and it would need wii speak with a button to only talk to your teamates for making strategy, and then talk regularly when you aren't pressing the button for taunting your opponents[QUOTE="Mike885"][QUOTE="Mike885"]Wow, i bet I'm the only one here that liked starfox command. Okay, go ahead and say that, it is not true. Everyone thought it was good, it just is not starfox calibur.

In his defence, Star Fox Command received a lot of bashing in this thread, with a lot of people saying it's bad, not even decent or just good.
I myself will probably get the game later this week, but from what I've read I think I'll like it.

Because I'm pretty sure there were no ground missions in that game...right?
There's nothing better than sitting down for a 2 hour play session in Star Fox against someone sitting on the same couch. Yes on-line play and air-wing missions are good but for me there is nothing better than fragging your bro/buddy and then taunting them up close and personal. Yes it is true that they need to make the main story line longer than it has been in any of the games but if you substitute multiplayer for on-line than I wont be playing it nearly as long. 4 EXAMPLE. I have been playing Mario Kart: double dash with friends ever since it first came out because of it's 2-player Grand Prix but they took that option out in MK WII and instead there's 2 player on-line. Its only Been 2 months and I am already getting bored with it.
been playing Star-Fox: Assault since release.
- No long story sequences.
- No love story (Krystal needs to go. Now.)
- Better VO
- Epic space battles
- No Love story
- No lame upgrades in multiplayer (Plasma shot I'm looking at you.)
- More ships in multiplayer
- No love sotry
- More emphasis on shooting down huge fleets and massive bosses.
- Star Wolf shouldnt be friendly. I don't know where they got the ridiculous idea for Wolf to respect fox. I want cold rivalry.
- No Love story
- NO LAND MISSIONS. We did it with adventures and it was fun, but once is enough as shown by assault.
- No gimmick to make the interface more accesible. (command's lame turn based system needs to go.)
- Control option that involves pointing the remote at the screen to aim your weapon and moving via the nunchuck.
- Control option that involves holding your wiimote vertically to simulate a joystick. and the nunchuck the throttle (Maybe afirst-party plastic case can be released?)
-No love story.
End.

I thick you are trying to say you dont want a love story, right?
First off: *inevitable*.
I just thought you should know.
As far as Star Fox Wii:
-Online Versus a must!
-A co-op mode even offline would be STELLAR. Online? EVEN BETTER!
-I AM NOT A GRAPHICS SNOBespecially with therad Wii, but at the same time I think it's fair to say that I'm ready for and we as gamers deserve for ourMORE POWERFUL Wii to start to bring it in the visuals department. Corruption (drool) and Galaxy (drool) both prove what can be done. It's time for our games to start to look next-gen already. Let's do this.
-Other than that I must say, and I may be condemned for this but, I've enjoyed most things about Every Single Installment. Even the on foot stuff of Assault. And I'm sorry but Adventures to me was just such a great and BEAUTIFUL game! LOVED IT! I don't understand how many hardcore gamers could not have enjoyed the hell out of it (despite the fact it didn't tread any new territory). So I'm not wanting to many major changes necessarily.
-Plus...of coursea great integration of the Wii controlls is key. It'll be the game's trump card.
-Use the nunchuck as well please.
All in all I just want it to be the Kick-@$$ next-gen Wii Star Fox we all want!
-And the afformentioned Star Wolf spin-off really is an interesting idea. Kudos!

I completly agreee with you! adventures was soo much fun.. it felt like a zelda/star fox game.. many peoplehated the game and I at first was surprised but I still enjoyed it.. Im not syaing they should make star fox wii like that. It should be like assault but a hell more flying and better ground missions! But also a spin off like adventures would be a lot of fun to.. don't tell me the graphics were bad c'mon! but seriously star fox wii ( hardcore flyin sim/ ground base modern action adventure ) star fox adventures 2 and a star wolf spin off are what nintendo MUST do for the wii.. but i doubt all that wud happend..:(
