Could anyone help? My Wii can detect the signal from the wireless router, but every time it goes for a connection test it fails. What could be wrong?

Maybe it's too far from the router? I think they're good up to about 30 feet.

You have to log into your router and set the channel. It's pretty easy, really. Just connect the router to your computer, type the router's IP address in the web browser of your choice (it's usually 192.168.0.1, but the manual that came with it will tell you), enter the username and password, and then find the setting and change it. Nintendo recommends 1 or 11 as the channel. Also, if you have a pre-N router, make sure it's set to mixed mode so that way it broadcasts in b and g.

Make the phone call

It's silly to buy something when you have all the parts already.

He already has the best way to connect, he's just unwilling to do it for some reason.

Maybe not a phone person?

Well, it'd just be a waste of money considering that I couldn't fix it with the internet
