So yesterday I was playing and noticed some wierd objects all over my screen, a day later, they still won't go away! Take a look I think I've tried everything, so let me tell you what I did. 1. Reset everything (Wii, TV, ect) 2. Disconnected and reconnected all wires (I mean ALL, power, sensor strip, ect) 3. Tried the component cables in all ports on my TV, (Two component ports) 4. That didn't work, so I got my Wii box out of the closet and opened the A/V cables, and used them.. no dice, still there. 5. Tried my other consoles in all my TV's ports, they work fine. 6. Tried downloading a Wii System Update So in the end I connected my Wii into 3 ports using 2 different cables, one of them brand new, and it still has glitches all over the screen, in all games and menus... EXEPT the wii system options, which looks normal. Does anyone know what the problem might be, it does not appear to be my TV or Wii connection cables, I don't know what else I can try. Please help me out.

I had the EXACT same problem, as have others. It's a problem with the GPU in your Wii. Send it in ASAP before the warranty is up and they'll fix it. I'll try to find the original thread I had about this.

EDIT: Here it is http://www.gamespot.com/pages/forums/show_msgs.php?topic_id=26145479

Good info in the thread from plenty of people.

Arrgh! My Wii is more than 3 months, I registered my Wii, so it should have gotten the warranty extension BUT... Nintendo deleted my account for no apparent reason. All I did with my account was register stuff, so I couldnt have been banned or anything, I registered every single game and console I bought from nintendo. I'm going to call, them, they better fix this!

It's the GPU overheating. When you get your replacement make sure its got enough air to breath and that you don't leave Wii connect on since there have been some reports of this causing it.

I thought that the Wii had a 12 month warranty. That's what it said on the back of the setup booklet that came with my Wii(The white booklet, on the very last page in the english section.)

You're right, it's 12 months out of the box, 15 months if you register on mynintendo.com.

It's a manufacturing defect with the GPU. I had the same problem. You'll have to send it in I'm afraid, but their customer support is amazing.
