supet mario galaxy 2 plot

does anyone know what the plot or story behind the game is? did nintendo even reveal the plot for the game?

I've read nothing, but I think I saw somewhere it might be like classic world 1-9 and sub-chapters kind of thing. Of course im not 100% on that

It looks like it'll be more like New Super Mario Bros. Wii Story Style other than a Super Mario Galaxy Story Style.

Which is a Shame in my Opinion.

Edit: I should actually say more of a Yoshi's Island type of Game more than New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Sad. Would've loved it they could've made another plot like SMG1. Guess it would've took them awhile to flesh out a cheap story and delayed it. Oh well...

that's just the demo so players can have easy access to the stages quickly the final game will have a hub world

To be honest, I felt that Super Mario Galaxy had too muchstory. The production values and the cinematics were amazing, but the story felt overdone and I couldn't take it seriously.

It's supposed to have a lot less story this time.

Haha, all of the save the Princess posts beat me to the punch. I liked the story from Super Mario Galaxy. I hope they expand on it for 2.
