Taken from the Famitsu magazine is the release date among other things. Hopefully a world-wide release ensues shortly.

I can play this during the Summer I am so damn excited.

TOS 2 is my #1 most anticipated wii game this eyar because TOS is one of my favorite games of all time.

i think its only Japan....the amount of translation needed will cause the US and EU release date to be pushed to September prob

It'll likely be something along the lines of October or November for North America. It'll likely take a while for them to translate it the game.

Nope, from what I read on Nintendo Power, it is already out in Japan. It's taking localization this long since there is more than 11 hours of spoken dialog. I could have misread it of course, so I will have to double check after work, all I remember after reading that article in the magazine is that it made me realize that I want to play the first one and it's not my objective to find a good copy of the original.

Crud! Then I misread that part of it. Sorry, well, at least this gives me more time to not only find the original, but also play through it. Mind you, I did not read the whole thing, as it warmed on spoilers.
