Cool, I was a fan of Tekken before I discovered Smash Bros :P I'm still a fan but to a lesser extent, would be nice if we got something like Tekken 5 DR but not a port. Would like a Wii exclusive Tekken if possible.

Tekken Tag Tournament 2 please! The best Tekken by far. Or a new Tekken would be good.

So I only see Tekken being on Wii with some kind of glorified remake. There always seems to be a catch. Dead Space is on rails, Resident Evil again on rails, Silent Hill is a remake (reimagining) and these all look like great games its just they came with a catch. I doubt Tekken Wii could release without some weird decision made by upper management before it hit the development.

As long as Michelle Chang comes back somehow, I'm all for it. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind playing as Julia but I am much much MUCH more of a Michelle fan. I hope they don't make it like that crappy Jin-Only adventure game in Tekken 5 as I liked Tekken 4's Tekken Force lightyears better.

Whatever the case I know some sort of weird decision will be made when players just want the Wii version of Tekken. No I am not talking about motion because I know there is some things they could add with that but I am talking about it being a port or turning the game into Soul Caliber Legends but with Tekken.

That would be cool. I am sure they can port Tekken 6 to the Wii without any major hinders. I mean, they could do Tekken on the PSP and it worked beautifully, I am sure the Wii can pull it off.

Urg... he talking about using the cluttered classic controller, I will never get why Nintendo just doesn't/didn't make the wavebird a parallel standard to the Wiimote.

What are tekken's controls again? I'm sure if you put your mind to it, you could come up with a wiimote/nunchcuk set-up that's 'good enough' for casuals.

I doubt the catch would be a glorified remake. The fighting game genre very rarely sees remakes, remixes are common but not remakes. I could see it being something like a port of Tekken 5 DR though.

I don't see the Silent Hill thing as catch, especially after Silent Hill Homecoming what a dissapointment. At this point they might as well reimaging the series all over again.

You wanna know why it is a catch?..................... Because as cool as Silent Hill Wii looks, its still not as good as getting the same type of game in a completely new story and setting were original. Its just the way it is and why remakes are so troublesome. IF it is a bad remake it sucks and if it is a really good remake a completely original game/entry with the same effort is still better.

What if they came up with a new game, but simply couldn't come up with anything creative for the story line? So they take the original story line and put it into the new game. Remember, this new silent hill is a re-envisioning. That means the story will be some-what the same, but over all the entire experience will be completely new and different. You want a new game? Here it comes!

Again, I am loving this game but not as much as a completely new game.

A Tekken has never been on a Nintendo console and I don't see a reason why it should be on one now. Honestly, Tekken isn't a premier fighting franchise anymore. I'd rather have Tatsunoku vs. Capcom in the states. Either that or a Soul Caibur that doesn't suck.

Be nice to have Tekken 6 on Wii but I'm not going to buy a classic controller for it, i mean I already have to fork out money for motion plus let alone another controller
