[QUOTE="gamer6464"][QUOTE="--Sinister--"][QUOTE="Rocky32189"][QUOTE="--Sinister--"]Getting games for the Wii should be a no-brainer. Get the Nintendo developed and produced stuff. Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros, Zelda, Mario Kart, Metroid. Those are why I care about the Wii, I personally wouldn't waste my money on games outside of what Nintendo itself crafts. I know that 99% of them are just trying to cash in on the motion sencing. The only game I EVER considered buying thats not Nintendo is Victorious Boxers or whatever it was called. Only cause I box and wrestle, and even then I chose not to.
All respect due to those who like some games not made by Nintendo, in my opinion (and I understand I have not played them, so for all I know they could be good) they arn't anything compared to Mario or Link.

And that my friends, is why third parties don't take Nintendo consoles seriously. It's that attitude that allows crap like Mario Party to sell millions while Zack & Wiki and No More Heroes sits on the shelf.
We all know that Nintendo is the best developer/publisher but to refuse to try third party games is absolutely crazy.
I do give them a chance, I've rented a couple I wondered about and I research games them pretty well. I stated that for all I know some of them could be great, but for 40 or 50 bones? Speaking of which....Whats a Zack & Wiki? I've never heard of 'No more Heros' either...
I pray your joking (end part)
I'm not. I've never heard of either games. Are they solid games?
:o WHAT?!?! yes! they are solid games, scored 8.5 and 9!!! Havent you been listening to people constantly praising them on these forums??
medal of honor heroes 2, the controls are great but the gameplay was too boring online and off
super monkey ball: played it for a few minutes, never touched it again (my wii was a package deal)
tony hawks downhill jam got it as a present but its not fun at all
excite truck: part of the packaged deal that came with my wii, fun but not for long
Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Too short, bad graphics, last minute motion controls. However, its still playable.Haziqonfire
Boy, I couldn't possibly disagree more. If you spend the time to do all the side quests and find all the toys/powerups, the game is pretty long. Playing it multiplayer is a ton of fun. The motion controls worked perfectly to make use of all the different powers, much better than a normal controller does (i.e. X-men Legends 1 and 2). The graphics weren't all that special, but they were pretty much the same as X-Men Legends was on PS2 so I was alright with it.
I'n gonna go with Far Cry. The biggest piece of **** I've ever played.
But it was only 3.24.... clearance... I traded it in and got 4.00.....
Warioware: Fun for the first time.. then ridiculously bad.
Spider Man 3: I read the GS review, but still thought it'd be good.. im an idiot.
I regret ever doubting i wouldn't like RE4. It's as good as OOT.
jjr10
I never played the gc or PS2 version of the game last gen so I thought I'd give it a rental on the Wii and man was I blown away. $24 of rental money afterwards I decided I needed to buy the game :D
Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors
definitely THE worst purchase i ever made since i got the Wii.
i honestly thought the concept of a FPS sword-fighting would be something new, but playing for 3 hours of it got soooooooooooo freakin' boring that i honestly had no choice but to return to the store in exchange for something else.
id recommend highly against it since you WILL get tired in 3hours or less.
Well the only game I have is SSBB, and that game rocks.Trickshot771
 really?!?!
ummm...
im drawing a blank here... :|
I'n gonna go with Far Cry. The biggest piece of **** I've ever played.
MarioMellow
Oh yeah. Well, I bought that even if I knew it was bad, just to see how the wiimote could handle an FPS (I even opened a forum thread asking people to convince me not to buy the game). I traded it in 18 hours later, I think this makes it a free rental.
i regret buying ssx blurf8101
i think that one is my biggest regret too. or maybe it's just my biggest let down. what a step backwards that game was.
[QUOTE="inflammable01"]zack & wiki. it was a bit overhyped and overrated. i wasnt really into the point and click, and trial and error style gameplay.hellhund
It sounds like you didn't realize it's a puzzle game. That's the way puzzle games work.
actually i knew it was a puzzle game before buying it. I just feel that after the first few levels its almost impossible not to make a mistake, so in order to complete the game i must fail and repeat or get extremely lucky and do everything right. I dont like going through a game like that.mario and sonic @ the olympic games
its twice as repetitive as mario party expect with like 20 mini games based off of the same thing. its just gets stupid after awhile.
Super Smash Bros. Brawl, damn that game sucked.

ok, joking, EDIT misread title, im gonna go with...guitar hero 3? i shelled out 90 bucks for that game, then quit playin it after a few months when i went out and bought a real bass. i cant say i completely wasted my dough 'cuz GH3 kinda influenced me buying that bass.
Ok i've buy 11 games so far... (they are pretty expensive here) but the one i regret the most is TMNT Wii, omg i bought it so my niece could play but even she got bored...
it's pretty lame.
wii sports is ok, wii play is ok coz we all got it with a remote.. there are some good games out there we all just have to research them a bit more :o)
I got a few for this list... heh, traded in 2 of them.. well traded one, called the developer and demanded a full refund for the other:
1) Blazing Angels - the dogfighting is pretty fun, but the landscapes are incredibly flat and the storyline is a weak arse 5 hours.
2) Madden 08 - I've always disliked Madden, but I wanted a football game so I caved on the boycott... I hated it, EA Sports ruins sports games and the only reason Madden is suriviving is because they are the sole owners of the right to make NFL video games. Once their contract runs out and the 2K series starts battling with them again.. they're going down the drain. EA SPORTS SUCKS! (I will however commend EA on their handling of my **** and sending me an unopened copy of the game to return to the store for a full refund.)
3) Sega Bass Fishing - I was a big fan of this game back when it was on Sega Dreamcast, but it is NOT what I remember. I remember being able to drive the boat around on the lake and hunt for a good location, and maybe my memory has just gotten bias over the past 5 or so years since I played it on Dreamcast... but being stuck to only moving the boat left and right is straight annoying!
4) I didn't buy this one, but I almost did and decided to rent it first: Sonic and the Secret Rings.. this game is retarded. The menu is far from convenient to work around, and it's just soooo repetitive.
I think this is a funny forum, cuz some of the games people are saying they regret, are games my friends and I have thoroughly enjoyed... such as Excite Truck.
