Mario Strikers Charged. It's only fun in local multiplayer. The campaign is way too hard to be enjoyable. I don't want to have to spend 50+ hours on a game just to be able to have the skill level to beat campaign mode. Practicing for online games (i.e., Brawl) is an entirely different story. But the difficulty level and the poor balancing of the A.I. in the game make it completely unenjoyable on the higher difficulties.

Mario Strikers Charged. I don't really like online multiplayer, and the difficulty level of the single player part ramps up significantly after the first cup.

my biggest regrets were no more heroes and madden 08....to me No More Heroes is the most overrated game to make its' presence on the Wii....it's so repetative...all of the stages nearly play out the same...there were only a few challenging bosses...and i hated the self-depricating ending....as for madden 08, i've never seen a madden take a step backwards as much as madden 08 was to madden 07...it's like they were purposefully trying to make it worse.

Sonic and the Secret Rings. Worst Sonic game ever. I prefer Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360 over that, and GS gave that a pisspoor review.

I dont own a Wii yey, but when I do I'm not going to buy games unless I know there worth the money. The games I plan to get are a bunch of old school games from NES, SNES, and N64, along with MegamanX Collection, SSBB, Mario Galaxy, Zelda:TP, Wii Play and Wii Sports, and whatever else comes out in the future.

Probably Elebits. It was fun for about 8 hours, then I got bored of it and ended up trading it in. One of the better looking (graphix) Wii games up until more recent games tho.

I enjoy Elebits, it takes a while to get through the game (especially if you want 100%) and having a stage builder is a great feature.

Mario Strikers Charged. First its too easy, then gets ridiculously dirty. The AI is just messed up and is very basic gameplay. Im gonna definitly trade it in soon.

Ummm Zak & Wiki for me. It just wasn't my type of game and the trial and error gameplay hacked me off. Fortunately the EB games in N.Z offers a 7 day trial period so I was able to return and get all my money back. Free rentals FTW! :D

[QUOTE="gamer6464"][QUOTE="--Sinister--"][QUOTE="Rocky32189"][QUOTE="--Sinister--"]

Getting games for the Wii should be a no-brainer. Get the Nintendo developed and produced stuff. Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros, Zelda, Mario Kart, Metroid. Those are why I care about the Wii, I personally wouldn't waste my money on games outside of what Nintendo itself crafts. I know that 99% of them are just trying to cash in on the motion sencing. The only game I EVER considered buying thats not Nintendo is Victorious Boxers or whatever it was called. Only cause I box and wrestle, and even then I chose not to.

All respect due to those who like some games not made by Nintendo, in my opinion (and I understand I have not played them, so for all I know they could be good) they arn't anything compared to Mario or Link.

--Sinister--

And that my friends, is why third parties don't take Nintendo consoles seriously. It's that attitude that allows crap like Mario Party to sell millions while Zack & Wiki and No More Heroes sits on the shelf.

We all know that Nintendo is the best developer/publisher but to refuse to try third party games is absolutely crazy.

I do give them a chance, I've rented a couple I wondered about and I research games them pretty well. I stated that for all I know some of them could be great, but for 40 or 50 bones? Speaking of which....Whats a Zack & Wiki? I've never heard of 'No more Heros' either...

I pray your joking (end part)

I'm not. I've never heard of either games. Are they solid games?

:o WHAT?!?! yes! they are solid games, scored 8.5 and 9!!! Havent you been listening to people constantly praising them on these forums??

super monkey ball: played it for a few minutes, never touched it again (my wii was a package deal)

tony hawks downhill jam got it as a present but its not fun at all

excite truck: part of the packaged deal that came with my wii, fun but not for long

Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. Too short, bad graphics, last minute motion controls. However, its still playable.Haziqonfire

Boy, I couldn't possibly disagree more. If you spend the time to do all the side quests and find all the toys/powerups, the game is pretty long. Playing it multiplayer is a ton of fun. The motion controls worked perfectly to make use of all the different powers, much better than a normal controller does (i.e. X-men Legends 1 and 2). The graphics weren't all that special, but they were pretty much the same as X-Men Legends was on PS2 so I was alright with it.

I never played the gc or PS2 version of the game last gen so I thought I'd give it a rental on the Wii and man was I blown away. $24 of rental money afterwards I decided I needed to buy the game :D

Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors

definitely THE worst purchase i ever made since i got the Wii.

i honestly thought the concept of a FPS sword-fighting would be something new, but playing for 3 hours of it got soooooooooooo freakin' boring that i honestly had no choice but to return to the store in exchange for something else.

id recommend highly against it since you WILL get tired in 3hours or less.

Oh yeah. Well, I bought that even if I knew it was bad, just to see how the wiimote could handle an FPS (I even opened a forum thread asking people to convince me not to buy the game). I traded it in 18 hours later, I think this makes it a free rental.

I initially regretted buying RE4 cause i hated it when i first played it, but now i love it! Anyway Warioware smooth moves is the only game that i regret buying, i played it about 5 times and i havent touched it since. Im not into too many wii games that over use the wii mote so Warioware is the game that i most regret buying.

THe only games I've bought and disliked were Mario Party 8, Cooking Mama and Manhunt 2, but I most regret buying Dewy's Adventure just because I bought it the day it came out for $50, and 2 weeks later it dropped to $20.

actually i knew it was a puzzle game before buying it. I just feel that after the first few levels its almost impossible not to make a mistake, so in order to complete the game i must fail and repeat or get extremely lucky and do everything right. I dont like going through a game like that.

its twice as repetitive as mario party expect with like 20 mini games based off of the same thing. its just gets stupid after awhile.

I got a few for this list... heh, traded in 2 of them.. well traded one, called the developer and demanded a full refund for the other:

1) Blazing Angels - the dogfighting is pretty fun, but the landscapes are incredibly flat and the storyline is a weak arse 5 hours.
2) Madden 08 - I've always disliked Madden, but I wanted a football game so I caved on the boycott... I hated it, EA Sports ruins sports games and the only reason Madden is suriviving is because they are the sole owners of the right to make NFL video games. Once their contract runs out and the 2K series starts battling with them again.. they're going down the drain. EA SPORTS SUCKS! (I will however commend EA on their handling of my **** and sending me an unopened copy of the game to return to the store for a full refund.)
3) Sega Bass Fishing - I was a big fan of this game back when it was on Sega Dreamcast, but it is NOT what I remember. I remember being able to drive the boat around on the lake and hunt for a good location, and maybe my memory has just gotten bias over the past 5 or so years since I played it on Dreamcast... but being stuck to only moving the boat left and right is straight annoying!
4) I didn't buy this one, but I almost did and decided to rent it first: Sonic and the Secret Rings.. this game is retarded. The menu is far from convenient to work around, and it's just soooo repetitive.

I think this is a funny forum, cuz some of the games people are saying they regret, are games my friends and I have thoroughly enjoyed... such as Excite Truck.
