I really do hope EA games is working on Godfather part 2 b/c the first was a very fun game.

I hope that for the second, online multiplayer would be implemented.  Imagine squaring off your hit squad plus crew member against an online foe, through a certain borough of New York City in a king of the hill or simple team deathmatch type of game...

That would be sweet.

Godfather 2 was in fact announced. It's the same engine so it should come to the wii even though EA royally effed themselves by not advertising the game nor putting it in a lot of stores.

I'd be psyched for it, but I don't think this game is good for pvp multiplayer.  If they did co-op tho, I think that would work nicely.

The only thing that baffles me is how the missions will be made.

yeah, the whole parallel setup of the second movie kinda would be funny to work with in a sandbox game..it'd be neat if they did something like, the better you do in vito's youth portion, the better off the family would be in micheal's parts

also, there's a lot of settings in part 2, so i guess there would be more missions like the horseplay one, where you go to a different place, outside the city

I personally found the parts of the movie about Vito's youth as the most interesting/cool to watch.  If the game somehow put you in Vito's shoes as a nine year old boy and showed his progression from child to teenager to young man as he learned to fend for himself in the streets of NY.....that would be awesome.

The sections in the 50's with Michael are more political and less action.  A game taking place in pre WW1 NY would be pretty cool to see.
