now that I think about it...the original Legend of Zelda, most of your time was spent exploring the world, and trying to find the damn dungeons. When you found them, the only thing that was so timeconsuming was having to start over if you died!
I know that doesn't really go with what the TC is saying... but adventuring really doesn't need to include sword play. You never honestly really needed to attack enemieson theoutside world, unless you wanted money, life, or other supplies, or if they were just in your way. Your defense wasobviously your shield, and it was all you needed (at least to begin with). You could just avoid them all together if desired. Your sword was more of a tool, then a weapon. It didn't really become a weapon until you actually entered a dungeon because you finally had to attack things in order to advance.
Maybe that's what Shigs is getting at. Going back to it's roots, ya know...in similiar fashion. Instead of worrying about your damn sword, this goes into play with what he said about putting more emphasis on "remembering who/what you meet, the places you've been". Ya know, exploring!
as to actual sword play....Miyamoto's said it, and I've been saying it even before this announcement. Look at Sword Fighting in WSR, I guarantee that's how (when appropriate) swordplay will infact, play out. It will be very similiar, and it will be a somewhat "transparent" Link. Bet money on it!
