"As you may have already guessed, this is a title that we wholeheartedly recommend. Beautiful visuals, improved controls, exceptional pacing and engrossing gameplay are all present and correct. The N64 version is an all-time gaming cIassic, but this is truly the finest edition of Ocarina of Time. Is it absolutely perfect from a technical perspective? Not quite, but it is close to gaming perfection, a cIassic that has been refined and polished with great care. Time to find a quiet room, plug in some headphones, and get swept away by one of the finest video games ever created." - Nintendo Life

"Ocarina of Time 3D is, and forever will be, pure unadulterated bliss, taking the original title and making it essential gaming all over again." - Pocket Gamer UK

"Diving into this 3DS version of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is proof enough of how much the original was ahead of its time, thirteen years ago. Today, with but a subtle graphical overhaul of its hero and game world, Ocarina of Time 3D manages to become a must-have of 2011. Even though you'll probably not experience the whole adventure with the 3D on, the touch interface, so comfortable for such a game, is a major enhancement of the comfort one has when diving in this epic tale blessed with a charm and some magic that seem, indeed, timeless." - GameBlog.fr

As amazing as Ocarina of Time has always been, it's gotten substantially better on the Nintendo 3DS handheld...In my opinion, Ocarina of Time 3D benefits more from 3D than any other N3DS title so far. [June 2011, p.82] - Nintendo Power

"Still a cIassic, still an explosion of nostalgia. Ocarina of Time 3D is a blissful rediscovery for veterans and an unmissable opportunity for newcomers." - CVG

"An excellent remake of the much loved Nintendo 64 cIassic: refreshed, renewed but still very much familiar and fun. Ocarina of Time 3D may lack the complexities and scale of more recent Legend of Zelda entries, but it gets by with a timeless adventure, challenging gameplay and a lengthy campaign. 3D graphics and an improved look really bring a new depth to the world of Hyrule without veering too far from the original artwork and cIassic. The 3DS version could have done with a more portable-friendly approach and pick-up-and-play value in some areas, but The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D is still a overall superb adventure that's worth considering whether you've played the game before or are longing for a fresh slice of pure Nintendo quality." - Cubed3

"Great art means different things to you at different points in your life. Ocarina of Time means something different to me now than it did 13 years ago. But the fact that it still has so much meaning is an affirmation of something I've long suspected: that this game is one of the greatest things that video games have ever achieved." - EuroGamer

"If the graphical boost isn't enough - and let's be honest, we're already seeing some games on the 3DS that look better than this - you're not going to have much else to satisfy your interests. It's clear this game is being released to find a new generation of gamers that are just discovering Nintendo's franchises. The rest of us will have to determine if it's worth re-visiting a Hyrule we've known for nearly 13 years. Rest assured, though, that doing so will not only let you relive a masterpiece, it will let you experience it in the best way possible." - IGN

"As a portable gaming enthusiast, I love being able to play a game of this quality on the go. I just wish as much attention had been paid to the nuts-and-bolts of the game as was lavished on appearances." - 1UP
