So I live in Southeast Michigan and we are in the middle of a blizzard right now! THey said starting around midnight we'd get 6-10 inches of snow. I woke up at 4am and looked out the window and there was NOTHING. Then I woke up at 6am and there was already a few inches and it hasn't stopped since. Basically the snow felt like teasing everyone. And last night a bunch of schools closed before it even started snowing... I never saw that before. We were supposed to do some Christmas shopping in Birch Run, MI today but I guess that won't happen. Perfect day to loaf.

By the way, I love being on vacation.

My best snowday memory happened my senior year. I woke up and was already getting ready for school. Then, my mom said she just got a call and school was cancelled! It was only 6:30am or so but I figured since I was already up I might as well stay up. SO I went downstairs, turned on the N64, and played Ocarina of Time for like 3 or 4 hours straight. It was awesome because no one else in my house was awake to bother me and I had nothign else to do so I just sat back and relaxed and played the best game of all time.

I wish I could go back to where I had huge blocks of time to game with nothing else to worry about. I try to do that late at night but it doesn't always work out.

I just hit the 100 hour mark on Persona 3. I am supposed to be playing all my other games over my break, not spending ridiculous amounts of time on just one. By the looks of it by the time I finish this one It'll be Christmas and I'll have Persona 4. THERE'S NOT ENOUGH TIME.

EDIT: Scratch that, I get back the January 5th. It's usually the 3rd, but this year it's on a weekend.

The most frustrating thing about this one is that I know when the game ends due to the calendar-based structure of the game. I'm just having a hard time getting there. But it's not all bad, in my hours of grinding I managed to fuse a GIANT PENIS MONSTER THAT RIDES IN A CHARIOT OF DOOM!

I didn't have power from 7am to 7pm today, with a full inch of ice and a quarter inch of show over it that broke three different cable sections of our power grid on my single street.

The ice melted so much that it literally rained from the trees onto vehicles and refroze as they drove.

Fort Wayne was put under a federal class 2 emergency, which means only city cars and people needing medical help.

On a lighter note, Knights in the Nightmare is an awesome game, and by awesome I mean Atlus could import it tomorrow for $40 and I would buy it all over again.

Edit: Don't complain about Mara, you got a good look at the Pixies for hours, reverse sexism is nothing considering how bad he could have looked had the makers stuck to lore. And Atlus is awesome and buy their stuff and bladda bladda blah.

I don't really know the kanji, but I know the context clues written to understand everything up to like a 3 year old level.

I've said it before, but a lot of Japanese games have english all over them, which is how people can guess how long it will take to translate for American release.

Jim Carrey can play the Riddler in one thousand different ways. He's more than able to get the job done, no matter the tone of the movie.

I'm not saying he can't play the Riddler, I'm just saying his character in Batman Forever was not impressive to me. I think it's because I can't take him seriously when he's doing a comical role, he's too silly.

His serious roles, such as his performance in Eternal Sunshine, are great though.
