The Off-Topic Lounge: Epic Masterpiece Version

The OT Lounge is a few years old now, and people are asking for more out of it. The last thread was basically a carbon copy of the one before it with only a few changes, and the original was fun and fresh at the time, but we've since come a long way and expect a bit more.

So no more copying and pasting, no more half-assed efforts and lame excuses, no more "I thought this was what you'd want!!" No.

Now there can only be...

All the regular GS rules apply here, of course, but here are the two to especially take note of:

Rules:

1. No spamming - "Off topic" doesn't mean "random and pointless." Start a new discussion or be a part of an on-going one.

2. No trolling or flaming - If you're taking the time to read this, you're probably not a troll anyway. So just tell your friends. You know they're trolls at heart.

So have a seat and relax in front of our giant new fireplace.

Pie is way better. However, cheesecake is amazing but I don't know if it can be considered cake. Cheesecake is nothing like cake, if anything it is more comparable to pumpkin pie. But no one ever calls pumpkin pie pumpkin cake.

Hiya fellas. Been a while since I participated in one of these. A new one should be a good opportunity to do so though!

So... whatcha guys think of my sig? Me and some other guys made it on flockdraw(it's basically an online paint sorta thing) and I edited it in gimp to make it better for sig use. I made the ginger breadman(aside from from a couple details)... :P

Btw, Jordan you changed you changed your avatar? I like it.. what's it of?

I don't have sigs turned on, so I can't see yours, but I kind of wish I was into visual editing stuff like that. I made my previous avatar with some cutting and pasting and an animation creator, but I really haven't done anything like that since then. I even have Photoshop now thanks to my university, but I just haven't gotten around to making anything good (other than a stupid pic of some lady with a giant afro that was parted in the middle.... I added in a pic of Charleton Heston raising his staff as Moses in the corner of it).

One great thing about this kind of thread is that we can get to know the Wii regulars a bit better. So take a minute to introduce yourself however you see fit. I'll start.

My name is actually Jordan Elek, in case anyone thought that was just some highly creative pseudonym I came up with. I registered with Gamespot back when it was mandatory to use your real name as your username, and I've kept with it all these years. And I am a male.... At some point people decide to steal my name and make it a girl's name.

I'm 23, currently working on my master's degree in English at a community college in Indiana. It sucks because I could have a decent job and be living on my own by now, but I'm focusing on getting this degree as soon as possible. I have an interim job at an auto auction until I find something better.

Most of my time during the semester is spent working and studying. In my free time, I browse Gamespot, play games, play the guitar, and read. I'm in an awkward, nearly friendless stage of my life right now due to just graduating from college in a different town, but it'll improve as I meet more people in this town.

So that's me in a nutshell. I didn't know nuts had shells this big...

So how many of you are now on break/vacation?

It's been deteriorating ever since). Due to the length of unemployment, the 30% cut in pay, and the foreclosure, I have to file for bankruptcy.
