The "I got/Didn't get a Wii for the Holidays" thread

With the Wii still in high demand and low supply, it is likely that there will be a good numberof us that get one for the Holidays. Be it a gift for yourself or you got it from someone else. At the same time there are those that might be told they will be getting one once someone can find one, so there is a gift of sorts but no system. Yet others might still be missing out on the system all together.

I got lucky and asked for one last christmas and got one. Now I dont have to worry about finding one.The1BigBoss

And it's funny because some guys at school were like aww man you should have got a PS3, have you seen those graphics. And I was like yeah well Nintendo never fails me. Now their parents are all lining up at the EB Games' only to see they're sold out. Guess I got the last laugh.

Man, I really hope I get one tomorrow. I asked for it last year but my dad couldn't find one! :'(

i ordered one on the 20th december and got it the next day

already got mine last month for my b-day

just got my wii right now with 5 (excluding wii sports) games, man, this is the happiest christmas ever :D

can't wait till midnight, when I open the gifts!

There's a Gamestop in a not very huge junior college town that I where I attend. I'm pretty sure they'll have some in stock when it's time to go back.

It's pretty damn cool, the games I have now are Wii Sports obviously, Mario Party 8 and Super Mario Galaxy.

My parents bought it in october thinking they'd be ahead of the crowds but they had to get it from Germay - English plug though but foreign instructions (but who reads those!) Annoyingly (for the rents) all the shops had loads in the last few days!xhan104

Didnt get one unfortunately. My mom missed the day the stores got their shipments. So it's back to the hunt next year.

Any tips for finding one? I really wanna get it before Brawl comes out.

Just got a Wii today with my Christmas money and I got 4 games with it: Mario Strikers Charged Football, Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Need for Speed Carbon. I was going to get Super Mario Galaxy aswell but the store didn't have any left in stock which I was kinda unhappy about but I am happy that I got a Wii as most stores don't have them in stock atm with it being Christmas and all.

maybe ebay if you are desperate to get one, but they arent cheap
