Enough with the violent.

I mean don't people play anything other then violent games? Plus isn't there like 5 other platforms right now to choose from if you're looking for it?

The idea that the Wii needs violence isn't right. The Wii is the best selling console ever to this point in it's life. The Wii doesn't need anything.

If it comes along in the future so be it.

Are You HIGH?

of course it needs violent games, otherwise it will just be a fad after a year...now dont get me wrong i love the wii that is the system i wanted since i heard of the motion controls, but come on nintendo... some good M games please (besides RE4)

that is why Manhunt 2 is probably in my top 3 games to get

I've always noticed people who buy games explicitly because they have a large amount of gore generally tend to be immature. If you can't enjoy a game like Metroid Prime 3 because it doesn't have enough gore probably means you are a little kid(at-least mentally). Most mature people would buy a game for it's game-play not for it's taboo value. If you don't believe me, then why is Super Smash Bros the most played games in any college. Why would a game where the developers went out of their way to not use the word kill in the game be one the most popular games for older players? What the Wii needs isn't more "mature" games, but more mature players.Steinberger

My point was just proven again. To resort to childish name calling, due to a difference of opinions...

Don't worry. Now that Metroid Prime 3: Corruption proved that the Wii-mote provides the best controls for FPSs, 3rd parties everywhere are going to jump at the opportunity to make more Wii FPSs.

I agree that it is only a matter of time before the Wii game isles will be swimming in generic violent fps's so people who want those games it will just be a matter of time. many developers have been cutting development for the other consoles to increase the number of developers working on Wii games so game choice won't be a problem by probably this time next year.

I like violent games just as much as the next person, well maybe not as much as some people. I just think that violence is not a requirement for a good game...

i fail to see how blowing off heads and seeing a gush of blood just for entertainment is truly mature. :D i have a feeling it appeals more to the child in everyone.

If you want a mass amount of first-person shooters that are mature get a 360.ACDC19

I'm anot sure i'd call them "mature". Except in rating of cource. Mature is the new "kiddy".

Retro should make a more mature sci-fi FPS on the Wii.
