There should be a new Metal Slug on Wii.

A new exclusive Metaal Slug game would be perfect for Wii.To aim you'd hold your controller sideways and tilt up to aim up and down to aim down (kinda like Wario Land: Shake It)

I think it would be perfect for WiiWare, but no motion controls please, especially for a fast paced game like Metal Slug.

I agree. If they did make it motion control, they would have to noticeably slow down the game.

I totally agree. Metal Slug would be very welcome on WiiWare as many other great titles. Motion controls were not implemented very well with Metal Slug Anthology so I wouldn't want that, but Classic Controller Support AND 4-Player co-op like the error stated on the back of Anthology's case would be very well accepted by me.

I'm up for that. I only downloaded the first one and would like to see a WiiWare re-imagining.

I do not think they could even fit a new Metal Slug on Wiiware. Yes they could fit the current look of Metal Slug, but they couldn't make a game that pushes the series forward. Up the diminutive memory capacity and then put a Metal Slug game on the system with all the works.

Re-inventing gameplay mechanics does not mean increased memory usage. Memory is not a problem.

I never said they should reinvent the gameplay mechanics. A Metal Slug game that matters would need more memory.
