They said at E3 core gamers would be excited over Nintendo

They said at E3 core gamers would be excited over Nintendo and Reggie even talked about it during the conference. Yet they didn't show anything besides Wii Speak to get core gamers excited. You could say "E3 isn't over yet" but face it. We've been mislead. Why would Nintendo do this? I mean... its just... I'm speechless now.

Edit: I also just wanna add unlike others I haven't givin up on Nintendo and am sort of happy we have a little more confirmation for SMG2, Zelda Wii and Pikmin Wii. I'm just disappointed and shocked that they have mislead us.

Anyway, I too had high expectations for Nintendo's conference. I thought that despite Microsoft having the huge FFXIII announcement Nintendo would have something to counter that, and unfortunately there was nothing to be seen. IMO Nintendo's was the worst conference this year by quite a longshot.

Apparently core gamers should be enjoying software (I refuse to call them games any longer) like Wii music (which is a spam fest, it required no skill what so ever, this is something I would never imagined from Nintendo...).

There will hopefully be more unveiled, and I really hope it is something big because I am very disillusioned atm.

Actually most people found Capcom's to be the worst. And with good reason. It was super-short and all they did was talk about the Lost Planet movie.

Iwata is even worse! He's the one that's driving this casual movement. And what is there to get excited about with Miyamoto? All he's been working on recently is Nintendogs, Wii Fit, Wii Sports, and Wii Music.

but there is no freaking excuse for NOT showing a solution for the

Wii save problem. They promised it...

Nintendo had their chance to deliver. We aren't even talking about having good games here...Nintendo failed to even promise a tirade of games for the core gamer. Heck Animal Crossing bearly even counts as it is part of Nintendo's blue ocean strategy as well, it just happens to be one of the more accessible titles out there.

It doesn't matter what Nintendo does now, that conference sucked and no big reveal, no game however big or revolutionary could turn around this E3 for Nintendo.
