i just got a DS lite yesterday. and it's japanese. so, i can't seem to find the charger. when you buy a DS lite do they come free with a charger? what's it called and how do you know when the DSL is fully charged? i might buy one, because i bought it second hand - the owner said he doesn't have the charger anymore coz he lost it in a camp or something. anyone help? sorry for the bad explanation, i haven't slept since i played all night with it :p

Charger specs:

USG-002 (JPN/USA)

Hopefully you'll find one.

amazon has them for 12.99 - I think Gamestop and walmart too. -so you bought a used DS Lite from someone and it's a Japanese version? Did you get a different color; ice blue or enamel navy?

It honestly doesn't matter which charger you use.

Even the voltage output makes no real difference. I use the UK adapter on a JPN DSL and on a UK one (and vice versa) they work fine. The only issue is getting it into the socket.

Failing that there are USB charge cables available online.

The orange light means it is charging, it should dissapear when it is done charging.

When the yellow/oragnge light is there, it is currently charging, when there is nothing there, it is done. while playing, a green light means full battery and a red light means you have to charge it soon

Why did you buy a japanese one? All DS/Lites play games from all countries...they're region free.
