The only on-rails shooter I've ever played in my life was House of the Dead for the arcades years ago. I remember it being pretty fun so I'm starting to have second thoughts on my past decision that it'll suck.
I think it was House of the Dead. It was something of the Dead.
[QUOTE="Duckman5"]On-rails killed it. It could've been amazing.Linkthedueler
you took the words out of my mouth...
Totally agree, sadly...& I wished it was more like Killer7.
It loses a lot of the RE elements that draw me to the series. It offers the ability to stroll through a spooky house, add a bunch of cheap scares, and blow zombies (and various other baddies) away.
I'll wait until we get a hands-on and a review. If i'm still not sure, I'm sure it's worth a rental. I don't know how much replay value it's going to offer, but Capcom has been in the business of making amazing games for a long time and might not offer the game of the year, but certainly an enjoyable experience.
AREA 51 my all time favorite arcade game, Time chrisis is #2.
I Think UC will WIN HARD and hopefully bring back the good old days whie adding all the good that is RE!
