I can't picture myself running off and buying a console at the drop of a hat that I have no interest in playing, only to wind up riddled with regret over not thinking about whether I would enjoy what I'm purchasing or not.

Myself, I like the Wii. I also like my 360.I also like the Nachos I just finished eating.

regret will depend on how good brawl and mario kart are. so far the games have been severely disappointing. at first i thought i was getting a great bargain at $250 while the ps3 base system was $500. now i realize i got what i payed for. i would gladly pay more to have hd video, hd audio, blu ray, bluetooth headset compatibility, and not the worst online. the wii is also in desperate need of a good fps. metroid, mohh2, and geometry wars are not it. 360 and ps3 each have multiple good fps games.

I used to regret it because of the lack of games a few months ago but not anymore. I'm using the Wii everyday now and I'm starting to use my PC for games now so I'm quite busy
