You know that when a company refuses to give out review copies of the game, it's sure to suck. That being said, I've heard of many movies not being screened for critics, but this is the first time I've heard of such a thing happening in the video game industry.

Actually the skateboard control seems like a good idea, too bad they couldn't execute it correctly. Lost potential totally.

I agree right idea but just did not work out. The worse part of it all is now the idea is going to have a black eye. So it may be awhile before someone improves on the idea.

If you're going to make a game that uses an expensive peripheral that likely no one else will use, the game had better be totally amazing. And from the description of IGN's review, it's execution is bad enough to wish you had rather scraped your knee against the ground than pay for this failure.

Wow and the site (which i've never heard of) GameZone gave it a 9.2. I wonder who's paying their salaries?

Well, I was not interested in this game anyway. I have not been a Tony Hawk fan since Pro Skater 4. Jeff also thrashed the game on Giantbomb.

I would not say that no one will use. Even with these reviews I still expect the game will sell well.

I very much agree as well, and the balance board is a great example. I enjoyed skate it and both of the shaun white games. I'm I sucker for these games, and I specifically picked up the balance board to play skate it and shaun white. I think the bb works very well with these games and it's good to see a few games now that make use of it. It's a shame you can't use the bb for this game. I think THPS lost it after 3, but the skate series has picked up the slack.

the skateboard idea is great and like all new controls at first its a little wonky and unpolished if they reuse it in next game all the kinks will be fixed

The same thing happened for Modern Warfare: Reflex Edition. Same company, too...
