Ocarina, Pilotwings, and Starfox. Street Fighter 4 is a mixed bag for me. It doesn't cater well to 3D(yes I know you can turn it off), and I have problems finding games with people that use regular street fighter controls. I feel the touchpad changes the game too much.;

My top three would be: 1. Ocarina of Time. I feel really weird listing this as number one because it's little more than a port, and the extra content is either cloned from the Gamecube release or absolutely worthless (boss rush). But...it's still a fantastic game and employs the best use of 3D out of anything I've played on the 3DS. 2. Dead or Alive: Dimensions. More accessible than Street Fighter and with more content. I think it's a superior game and one that translates a lot better to handheld play. 3. Ghost Recon: Shadow Wars. This game has a few issues (silly puffs of smoke when you shoot guys, anemic graphics) but it's a really solid game somewhat in the vein of Advance Wars mixed with Valkyria Chronicles. It's also one of the few games out on the 3DS that's legitimately unique and not a remake of something else, and for that reason it deserves a lot of praise for actually being good.

Pilotwings. Keep an eye on Amazon, their prices on 3DS games fluctuate like crazy. I've seen it hit $20 a few times.

There's really only 3 games worth playing.

I think they are pretty obvious.

This is my favorite. The missions in the main campaign tend to be a little too "shoot everything until it's dead" but that is made up for by the senarios. I really wish there was some kind of wireless multiplayer though.

Dead or Alive: Dimensions actually has a slightly higher aggregate rating than Starfox. Devil Survivor and Ghost Recon are very close behind. But after that you have a rather sharp drop.

1. Devil Survivor Overclocked 2. Dead or Alive Dimensions 3. Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D I picked RE because of the sheer amount of addictive hours I put into it.

Good thread. I wonder why this is the first time I'm seeing one. My top 3: Samurai Warriors Chronicles. Pilotwings Resort. Dead or Alive: Dimensions. To be fair, I'm not a big fan of tactics, so Ghost Recon was handicapped. I stopped enjoying Zelda after A Link to the Past, so I actually kinda regret buying OoT. And Splinter Cell would be excellent if they were able to patch it via spotpass for the right thumbstick camera control. Oddly, the NES games have taken up my attention lately- Yoshi is a remarkable puzzle game- makes you think fast and act fast- and I'm working on the Legend of Zelda for the first time. Bonus. What I'm looking forward to the most: Heroes of Ruin. Ace Combat Assault Horizon Legacy. Shinobi 3D.

I only have 2 games at the moment, DOA: Dimensions and Zelda OOT. I did have SSF4, but I got bored with it and sold it for DOA. They should have called it "Spam Fighter" instead of Street Fighter. The online sucked in that because all anyone would do is just throw Hadokens at each other all day, then the other person jumps to avoid it, then they would throw in a Shoyruken in there for variety. DOA is much better. There's more variety.

Yeah, it's good despite the score it got. Sure it's just mercenaries, but mercenaries is still fun. You get quite a lot of fun time out of the game, and that = a good game.

I only own Ocarina of Time and Street Fighter so far. Like them both. Was the perfect time for me to replay Ocarina, and since I don't have a 360 or PS3, and since I didn't want to play it for PC, a 3DS version of SSF4 was nice. I just wish all the characters weren't unlocked from the start so it would feel like I was getting somewhere.

1. zelda ocarina of time. (one of the best games ever in stunning 3d.. yes please) 2. streetfighter 4. (had it since release and still absolutely love it, though ive always been a big sf fan) + online work flawlessly. 3. pro evo soccer 11... (obviously not as good as the consoles, seems a bit rushed but still cool to play and 3d looks nice) havent played starfox, pilotwings or dead or alive yet but they all look good. not bothering with res evil because of the stupid one slot one time save debacle. plus im spending more time than i thought i would on the classic nes games games !!

havent played starfox, pilotwingssydstoner

Pilotwings is the gem in the launch lineup. It just takes a minute to get going.

Starfox is a great game of course. It is an old school type arcade shooter that can be replayed endlessly. Some of the voiceovers(which were redone)aren't as good as the original. There are some really good additions though.

My top 3 (most played/enjoyed) games are.

1.Starfox 64-never played the original but this is by far the best on rails shooter ive ever played.

2.Devil survivor overclocked-The gameplay is like adult pokemon with full voice work and multple endings. Its rare that DSO ever comes out of my 3ds.

3.Resident Evil Mercs 3d-It is seriously lacking in content but it is very addidcting and fun..(especially with a friend).

runner ups...Zelda,Doa,SFIV

Kind of sad, but you're right.

Anyway, 1: Lego Pirates of the Caribbean, 2: Zelda (don't have any others)

Piotwings is great. Definitely worth buying on the cheap if you can. The game is only as short as you make it too. I got 31 hours out of it, which is 2 more than Ocarina, which i'd completed and found 95% of all items.
