Toshinden is alive and still being developed

Ugh, why is the style anime now? It looks very uniteresting in the character design department. I'd rather have the original characters in it. Why not just call it by a different name.:?

Oh well. Why I'm I complaining. We are getting more fighting games.:) That's the good news. I'm looking forward to more fighting games on the Wii except Tekken.

Wait is this the same series as the old battle arena toshinden games?

Toshinden was a bad 3-D fighter that had fleeting fame for coming out around the same time as VF in the old 32 bit wars and looking a little better. Then VF2 and the re-issue of the first game arrived on Saturn looking better than Toshinden 2, and people suddenly realized VF was the better game all along. Then no one ever cared about the series anymore. This "revival" is pointless and silly. How about in another gen I start up a team to make a revival of Kabuki Warriors? Makes about as much sense. Toshinden games have never been good, this will not be good. Buy Tatsunoko versus Capcom, buy the dozens of fighters on the other two systems, but please, for the love of all that is good and just..... don't buy this.

I liked the original Toshinden games...but I have to say I don't like this artwork. This looks nothing like the original games, and it will probably have nothing to do with the original games. It shouldn't even be called Toshinden!

I haven't heard about Toshinden until this Wii version.Looks kinda interesting.
