My complaints are, while its nice it reads SDHC cards, up to 32GB, it can only reads up to 3,000 files at a time for pictures, and roughly 2.5GB of stuff at a time. i'm hopeful a system update will fix this, but why it shipped like this is beyond me

also, why can't i save DS game demos? seriously i have the internal mem,, i have a SD card, so why not nintendo? we know these demo's were storable on the old DS which had like, 256kb of internal memory, i don't know if the demos were that small in actuallity but they couldn't have been that big, i'd like to be able to store and save demos instead of still losing them when i shut it off

and last, will nintendo points be united? i want to be able to combine DSi point and Wii points. Just makes sense

your complaints?

I have them in my review (Sig).

Edit: None are major, and I don't see them as bad things, but other people find it a con.

Ive got a ton, being a nintendo gamer all of my life, the DSi has been the worst handheld that Nintendo has released in a long time. AAC music files (WTF?!?!?, Yes I know you can convert them) and then the whole camera thing, I mean seriously, who is going to bring their DSi with them when they go visit Italy? Crappy Opera Browser, I never thought i would dare say this, but Nintendo copied the PSP on this one. Better handheld between DSi and PSP?

PSP>DSi by far.

You couln't store DS demos on any of the old DS versions, you were only be able to play them until the system was turned off.

That's what I was thinking. :/ The DSi is still fresh and new and it has a lot of updates to go. The Opera Browser will be enhanced, I'm positive on this. It's pretty much guaranteed that the DSi will have a VC which will be incredible. And people that are against the pictures: The picture quality is great and I've taken many pictures already. But it's not the picture-taking experience that the DSi was made for. Imagine the possibilities of gaming where you can put yourself in the game. There could be a mask in the new Zelda that lets you put your own face on it or something.

AAC music files- small file size, higher quality, easier to read, and costs less to use. Camera- it's for casual use and there's more uses than just taking pictures. Browser- it's actually pretty useful. It loads pages pretty fast and has different viewing modes so that it can handle more straining pages.(far superior to the PSP's) DS=PSP clone- The DS has these features already(scattered between various cards and cartridges), Nintendo just built them into the system this time.(and improved them) P.S. I just thought about something- Remember in Metroid Prime(GC), whenever there was a bright flash of light, you saw the reflection of Samus' face on the visor? Wouldn't it be cool of the next Metroid game for the DS had a feature where YOUR face reflected on the visor? P.S.S. I have no complaints so far...

That's actually in the works. It's almost certain not to happen for a long time (then we'll have to wait until it does ok in Japan), but it issaid to be coming.

As for complaints, I don't have any at the moment. I've been having a great time with my i.

My only complaint (and a very minor one at that) is the way the SD card slot opens up. It irritates me slightly, but that's about it. I love my DSi!!!!

Aside from the incredibly annoying-to-open SD card slot, I love it. A very worthy upgrade from the Lite.

The DSi uses the same DS download-play feature as the other models. The menu style even reverts back to the original one once the the feature executes. For the DSi to be able to save demos, they'd have to come from the DSi shop. The DS does not, and can not differentiate a game being downloaded and a demo being downloaded. If the DSi were able to save DL's from the download-play feature, there'd be nothing to stop the DSi from saving the data transfered via multiplayer.

I would like to object that. Worst handheld that Nintendo ever released was the GBA Micro (sales wise). And as for your reasoning of the PSP, take that over to system wars or something. And besides, it's the PSP 3000 and DSi you should be comparing. Who's the real winner in that comparison?:P

Anyway, my complaints for the DSi would be the compatibilty of the GBA games. I was a GBA freak, and the news about having no GBA slot turned me down from ever purchasing a DSi.

My complaint is that you cant play games off the sd card. It's going to become a problem later down the road (and I thought they wouldn't make the same mistake again)

The thing that upsets me is the inabiliity to import pics. If you want to carry around pictures you are still doomed to carry another device. Luckily I have an iphone for this.

I'm pretty sure it was "at a time", meaning that only 3000 files can be displayed. Any excessive files would have to be in a different folder. P.S. If you have 3000+ songs, you need to go to some sorta rehab.

i have 29GB of music on my 120GB Zune, i like having my whole collection with me at all times, often i put it on shuffle.

its very nice, around 6,000 or more songs at my disposal. i usually listen to a lot of it, i like mixing it up, i get tired of music if i listen to a particular song too much at a time

Woah. I've seen quite a few people boast about how many songs they have and the most I've heard is 20GB. I'll be righ back with the phone number. :P

I have no complaints, but I did want to throw in something about the points. I believe I read in Nintendo Power a few issues back that Wii points and DSi points are supposed to eventually combine and just become Nintendo points, so you can use them toward whichever system you like. Perhaps they'll do this when the DSware is more established, so everyone doesn't spend their 1,000 free points on Wii stuff.
