This absolutely terrible year for me. I entered a new school which I hate with a living passion. Then to add on top of that my mom says I can't play any video games unless I join the basketball team one more year. I hate basketball I suck hard at it and I'm always getting ridiculed how terrible my performance was. My dad agrees with my mom and it's terrible.Also my mom blames all the bad things on the Wii and video games in general. She thinks that I won't get good grades because I moved to a harder school and I played a lot in the summer. Then she thinks the Virginia Tech shooting was some guy who was obsessed with violence in video games and he went crazy one day. She blames video games on violence, and bad grades.Now she bashes on me by saying I don't have friends just because recently I haven't been haning out with my best friend for some reason. She hates the Wii and anything to do with video games. I'm lucky to have the Wii and MP3. Then my mom says video games are going to my head and thinks I'm insane and bashful. I'm in 8th grade and as you can see this school year will be the worst one of all time.
Haha, that's pretty tough on someone who's only ineighth grade. I thought you were entering college or something and your mom thought you were a serious loner...
My mom feels sort of the same way. She'd rather me watch TV than play video games. In video games, you're actually thinking about something. If you're watching TV, you're just looking at a screen giving you useless information such as Angelina Jolie getting a nipple piercing.

8th grade was the easiest year for me it was a joke at a private school so try to get an injury to get out of of baskestball and then you can sit on the couch and play the wii all day just a thaught but it definately would work but dont go and break your leg because i said so but good luck get your homework done as soon as you get home then you have the rest of the night to play thats what i do i also get better grades when i do my homework early in the day
Um FYI, Angelina's piercing is nothing to be mocked. Anyway, yeah, you were kind of reaching for a forum with this but w/e. School's a joke anyway. Just pick what you like to do and forget about serious stuff. College is there for a reason. Trust me, it destroys grade school/high school.
well tell your mom its becouse of parents like her kids go nuts and shoot people! their to lazy to take responsibility for their actions . if little johnny does grate in school his parents say"u see him thats my son im sooo proud." if goes nuts they say"well itsnot my fault it must bethose video games and rock music"! no fence to your mom though.
