Too bad! I was really hoping they'd nail it this time, seeing as they were getting pretty close with Secret Rings.

Oh and please, don't say "Oh wow, another disappointment," because Secret Rings was NOT a dissappointment. The controls worked fine and I'm not sure how they were broken, and the game was fun and speedy!

There's also a new trailer that shows how the optional characters play.

After watching that trailer, I think I really need to play this game for myself. The review complains about constantly being stuck doing sword battles, but from the trailers it looks like jumping over enemies and slashing them a few times while you're at it isn't difficult at all. Maybe the reviewer just stinks at the game? Or maybe the trailer is just good at highlighting the good parts of the game.

Surprise Surprise the new sonic game was a disappointment. I would have never saw that coming. I mean after all of Sonics last games i would have never guessed this one to be bad.

Is anyone really surprised? Sega has been making bad game after bad game for nearly a decade and yet they still sell. What reason do they have to make a good Sonic game?Rocky32189

My God........a 3.9? And I admit, I said this game couldn't get any lower than a 7.2,because Nintendo Power said it was way better than Sonic Unleashed............. What the hell. It gets good sound,presentation, and graphics..They said a politically incorrect word to use in a professional review. The multiplayer wasn't mentioned in the lasting appeal. The online,which I figure goes there,is included into the presentation? I really have to play this game for myself now because this review is bogus. You can skip the fights as well, unlike what IGN says. Ehh,whatever, it is one review. By the Way....................... WHEN HAS SONIC EVER BEEN ABOUT FULL BLOWN SPEED?

I was expecting Something liek this. Give a Hedgehog a weapon and you know you got problems.

I guess it does not bug me that Tails is not playble. Still suxs, that they make other characters playble and the gmae suxs. *sigh* I hope this does not lead to another ONLY SOinc game...

Sonic and the Secret Rings was ok IMO, what happened with this game, it sounds like the graphics are the only good thing about it, but gameplay is more important than graphics though.

I am still getting it.
