Hello GS.

Nintendo just added 6 previews to the eShop on the 3DS as downloadable trailers... so that you can see them repeatedly without entering the eShop I guess...

The games are:

- Super Mario 3D Land.

- Mario Kart 7.

- Luigi's Mansion 2.

- Animal Crossing 3D Village.

- Paper Mario.

- Mario Tennis.

The trailers even create "extra data" on the SD card.

5 out of the 6 trailers are from the Mario franchise, so you better love Mario or you are screwed. :P

Thought these were demos when I first saw them. Pretty disappointing.

The trailers are better quality than the E3 ones and they come with automatic updates, which I believe will keep you posted on details regarding the games you're watching. The Animal Crossing one is good, as is the short, but sweet Mario Tennis.

Kid icarus is looking ace. its definately improved in the graphics department since E3 (better lighting, more effects..all that good stuff. i didnt notice character shadows mind. yes its the shadow thing again :P). kart is also looking kewl. im very interested to try driving in the cockpit view by turning the 3DS....that could be good crack. its also nice to see how these will look in 3D (very well i might add). however from a shop point of view id like to see ninty handle this type of stuff better. the wii has the video stream to the console which i have always liked. so why not on the 3DS? if ninty streamed the vid, provided an option to save it to the SD card and managed game tracking and spotpass updates for these through the store (have a "looking forward to" list or something on the store) rather than through seperate apps then it would be far more elegant. lots of kewl games coming for the 3DS though...i cant wait :D.

Mario and Mario Kart are looking ace. But what the heck is going on with Luigis Mansion 2:( I never complain about jaggies but damn that game looked like it was running on 1.5 pixels, I couldn't even tell which pixel was Luigi and which one was the Mansion. Nintendo better not f*** this up Luigis Mansion was one of my favorite games for the Gamecube.

Nintendo isn't going to spontaneously put demos on the eShop. We will hear about them weeks to months in advance. Anyway I'm happy with videos. It's nice to see the games in 3D and on the screen they will be playable in. You can't always tell how nice they are going to look with videos stretched out on a computer or the Wii's Nintendo channel. I think that's cool that you can choose to receive spotpass updates about each individual game too.
