I have a usb wi fi adaptor thing. It works great when the computer is on. But, (i havent tried this yet)  If i turn my computer off, will i still be able to recieve messages? or go online? thanks in adavance

no your computer has to be on for it to work

I don't think it will because it needs windows running to coordinate the signals.
